Hi Susannah, I'm planning my vow renewal for April 2013. Eight years ago I had a civil ceremony too with the plans of having a "My Planned Wedding". I understand what you mean when you feel your renewal being not important to other. Me and my husband will only have the close friends and family attend the beach ceremony. My palnning is coming along! I'm trying to decide on invites to go with(I have a website already). I love the boarding pass and passport idea but I'm not that creative. I will be using sun and sea beach weddings to help me plan the (ceremony, pictures, and flowers). I plan to just go out to dinner that night with my guest (no reception) because we will be boarding a 5 day cruise the next morning to the Bahamas!
