We are getting married on the 18th, we will be there at the same time

I am about 3 hrs from spokane, but the davids bridal in Edmonton is closer for my brides maids and going there gives me an excuss to see my aunt!!!

Thanks everyone, we are a lot of effort into the bags and trying to have them be as useful as possible, we think the waterproof cameras will be a big hit. The beach bags we think will be better without our names on them (people might be more inclined to use them) so we are putting a starfish and having it say Riviera Maya on it.

Hi My fiance and I have decided to give our guests welcome bags with waterproof disposable cameras, survival kits, welcome booklets, and room key holders. What I am wondering is, would it be rude to not have favors? we where going to do the bags and then get some maracas as favors but my fiance think the bags would be enough and people would get more use out of them. I worry that a lot of guests expect favors and that it might be seen as rude to not have them. What should I do??

Thanks, I thought i was being fair by offering to pay one or the other, I wish I cold do both but I can't. I am sure we will all figure out something but it's hard when one person makes it harder then it should be.

I have thought about paying the difference, but I am on a tight budget. I was going to pay for their hair and make up, so I sent an email to the girls asking which they would prefer the hair being done or me contributing to the dress. So far one has answered asking for both which I can't do, so I have been looking at discount bridal stores and other designers. I found one at Davids bridal that is similar but they are in the US and it's hard for one of them to get there. I like the idea of going to a store together and seeing what we can find so that might have to be the route we take,

Thanks!! it gets hard sometimes to remember you can't please everyone. We will know our wedding will be compared to theirs but there is nothing we can do about it. We just have to focus on us and what we want.

Hi I am looking for bags to use for a survival kit and was wondering where you got yous? I found some on oriental trading but I am not sure if they are wide enough they are just 11inch high cellophane treat bags. I don't live near a Michael's or anything so it has to been on line. this might sound weird but how wide where the bags you used? Thanks for your help!!!

Can someone please post a pic of the Palmeras grill? I am sure I have seen it but but I can't remember. Also, can anyone tell me what kind of room they use for the reception in the Mint Breeze Package? we haven't decided between that one or the Strawberry. We are only having 20 people so it's small but I want it to look nice. Thanks

Hi I am have the same thing with my MIL, but we feel that it is just our way of showing appreciation to our guests. We are just wanting to do beach bags, a welcome booklet and a survival kit with some tums and bandaids that sort of stuff. Trying to keep it simple since we have a small budget. It's hard though because her comment was about how my brother in law and his wife only had favors for their dr wedding and how we should save our money and just do favors. The frustrating part for us is that their favors cost around $300 and ours with the bags and maracas as favors are less. The whole process is hard because we keep getting compared and they didn't have a budget. So we have been torn too!!

Hi Can anyone please tell me where you are getting the Imodium? I haven't been able to find small ones I have thought about buying a big pack and putting two in a small baggy or something but I don't know if that would be weird. We have about 20 people and they are all family but I still worry that they might find it weird.

Does anyone have a template for diy envelopes? I want to do boarding pass invites with purple envelopes but can't find any that ship to Canada and thought I might try making me own. any suggestions?

Thanks ladies, I have asked a few more stores and I am getting the same if not higher price so it's frustrating. I am now trying to find a replacement but don't know where to look for reasonably priced bridesmaid dresses. Do you know what designers if any are in the $100-$150 price range?

Hi Everyone, I had my heart set on an after six bridesmaid dress (it was the only one they would all agree on too) only to find out they want $200 for it. My bridesmaids and I agreed on $100-$150 max. Do any of you know which designers are in that price range? Her is a pic of the one we all loved; Thanks so much for your help.

Hi I am from Nelson it's in the Kootenay mountains. We choose Barcelo because we know people that have been there and said nothing but positive things about it. My FI and I have never traveled before so we are super excited. Planning so far has been super stressful since some of our guests don't like that we choose Mexico as our destination. If you haven't already I recommend checking out Barcelos website, I love that the resort has different price ranges for budgets and every picture that I have seen is breathtaking. Where up north are you? I must admit I have never heard of the town. I have a friend that stayed at the Jade3 now and she loved it and she is super picky so good luck.
