  1. Your guestbook cards look amazing! I can't believe you DIY'd these. LOL @ your puppy baby daddy! Cute dog!
  2. Thanks for letting me know about this. I didn't even consider customs. I was just thinking about what service would deliver and how much that would be.
  3. Hi Ladies, I have some questions that I'm hoping you can help me answer... I noticed that some of you are using outside vendors, but I read somewhere (maybe my contract) that outside vendors aren't allowed. I want to use fresh flowers for my bridesmaid bouquets if possible and I want some for centerpieces, but from the limited info I have, Palace flowers are really expensive. Also, does anybody know anything about the old wedding packages versus the new ones? When I signed my contract, I chose one of the old ones, but I'm wondering if they are going to change them to the new ones. Anybody know anything about this? Is anyone shipping wedding stuff down there before hand? With baggage fees, I'm wondering if it's cheaper to just UPS (or other mail service) my stuff down there (though I have no stuff yet). Last question (I promise... well this time anyway), what's the best way for me to find pictures of the outdoor locations for receptions/cocktail hours and of the gazebos for the ceremony? Thanks so much in advance for your help! Nickey
  4. Cute doggy! We want a dog so bad, but we can't have one where we live. Can you pretty please forward me the emails that you received? You asked the same question that I was going to ask about the menus. My email is [email protected].
  5. I'm sad to hear that you're going through this. All you can do is be there for him through this and make sure this doesn't put a damper on your special day. Are you having a party at home afterwards?
  6. These are great! I love your theme too! I'm so undecided on mine. I think I'm just going with a classic romance theme, but I'm not sure. In any case, I hope that my programs come out as nice as yours have!
  7. That's such a tricky situation. Will the upgrade really make you feel better about the situation? Or does it feel like a "shut you up" thing? If it's the first, get the upgrade. If it's the second, well I'm not sure what to say then... I'm new to the forum so I don't know your background, so I'm hope I'm not stirring up any issues. He did offer so he must want you to be happy. Just decide on what will make you happy.
  8. I really like this idea. I was trying to figure out what way to incorporate everything if we end up with a small group. None of my guests have booked yet. This sounds like a great way to ensure that you get to do all of the traditional wedding things. The timing sounds good too. It seems like people will have time to arrive, have a drink and some appetizers and the show will begin. You could also do your dance first, like as soon as you walk in (assuming that you're planning to get there 15-20 minutes in) and then do your toasts after the dance.
  9. Aww! Congratulations! Your video is so nice! Thank you so much for sharing. You look so beautiful! It gives me a great idea on what to expect for our wedding too.
  10. Hi Ladies, Our wedding is coming up in June 2012 and I'm looking for some details from the brides who have recently had weddings at the Moon Palace. I'm feeling a little anxious as we get closer to the date, but I guess all brides feel like that during the process. Any info you guys can give me about how things have gone with the on-site coordinators would be really helpful. Thanks, Nickey
  11. Congratulations! Our wedding is the day before yours at the Moon Palace! I'm looking for some additional information about the resort myself. I'm feeling a little nervous about the unknowns since I've never been to the resort either. I have been hearing great things and some of our family members have been raving about great of a resort the Moon Palace is. Good luck to you!

  13. HI Ladies, I'm new to this blog, but I'm very excited to see someone decided to make this forum! I'm going to be a 2012 bride at the Moon Palace as well. We have our date, our rooms and our flights booked. Now we're just playing the waiting game for our guests to book their trips. Our wedding is in June and we're having a casual party back home after the wedding in July. Right now, I'm just looking for information on what to expect for the wedding at the resort. According to the contract, the on-site coordinator won't get in touch with us until 30 days before the wedding and I'm concerned about a few things. We're getting married in one of the gazebos and I'm wondering about the lighting. I don't want it to be dark under the gazebo since it provides so much shade. I'm also beginning to think about details and things we can save money on by bringing with us like the bridesmaid and groomsmen flowers, centerpieces and any other things we want. I'm sure they will be expensive to buy from the resort. I'm looking forward to talking to you all about the wedding plans. BTW, those boarding pass invitations are really nice and I like the luggage tags! They look amazing! Nickey
