Danak71 We had to move our date from march 232013 to march 152013 because the 5oclockwedding time was taken. So we are doing march 15 at 5. We are going to do the civil ceremony. Hopefully it will not be to much red tape. I'm already started getting all my paperwork together. Are you hiring a DJ?

We now have our wedding date reserved for March 15, 2013! Yippee!!!! What types of shows or activities do they have going on at night? Is it pretty lively at night?

Wish ours was this year, but really wanted a march wedding. We are getting married at Excellence Playa Mujeres hopefully March 15, 2013. Who is everyone using for their photographer? I was thinking Juan Navarro or Victor Herrera? Also does the resort typically have a big party for Saint Patricks Day?

What is everyone doing for a reception at EPM after the wedding. I saw the packages come with a wedding dinner, but thinking I would like to have music and dancing. I'm sure this cost extra but have not been able to find out how much and what my options are. Thanks

Have not decided how I would transport them. Just started thinking about what to put in the bags and thought that would be cute, but maybe impossible to transport without having one whole suitcase just for beach buckets.

This is so awesome with all the suggestions! I was thinking about instead of having OOT bags doing OOT sandbuckets. Has anyone done this or any thoughts? I believe the resort supplies bags to use while we are there.

You girls are all so close to your wedding dates congrats. I am new and thought I had it all figured out to get married at excellence playa mujeres in march 2013, but after reading some of the issues with the wedding coordinator now I am concerned that I may have not made the right decision. We have not booked yet so still have time to change resorts. The resort it self looks amazing and have read good reviews on the resort but not so good on weddings. Would you girls still pick excellence if you knew you would have such a difficult time with the coordinator? I am looking at Le blanc spa and now the royal in playa del carmen Any advice would be great!!!

Considering getting married at royal playa del carmen March 23, 2013. Is anyone doing any excursions with there guest? What other activites are offered at the resort? How large is the resort? The pictures of the pools appear small. Any advice would be great!!!

Hi, I am a newbie just started planning and trying to decide on a resort wedding is March 23, 2013. I am looking at royal cancun, royal playa del carmen, and le blanc spa. Anybody been to any of the other resorts. Was concered about royal cancun being small from the pictures and number of rooms. I want to make sure the resort is big enough and lots of things going on while we are there. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
