During the course of my engagement I have changed my mind over and over agian on my wedding dress. Last week I picked up my wedding dress after alterations, and during the time it was being altered I questioned my self again and almost changed my mind. I am getting married at the Hyatt Resort and Spa in Key West outdoors. I went with a Davids Bridal satin fit and flare mermaid style gown, and alterations were a lace up corsett back and a 9 point bustle. Here are the photos

I picked up my wedding dress last week after the alterations were complete. During the course of my engagement I have changed my mind twice on my wedding dress. This dress I just picked up was dress #3. And I almost changed my mind again while it was being altered. Can you ladies take a look and give opinons please? I went with a sait fit and flare mermaid style dress with a suttle sweetheart neckline and bow detail from Davids Bridal. For my alterations I had a corset lace up back added and a 9 point bustle that flows with style of the bottom of the dress.

Hello oliive0y1, I have booked my wedding cruise with Carnival on the Valor we are doing our wedding cruise out of Miami in April 2012. You can do the reception with Carnival and you may have more than 20 people, but they do charge an extra fee per person. 20 people is just what is included in your booking fees. I believe the reception packages start at 650.00 for 1 hr., 750.00 for 1 1/2 hrs, and 850.00 for 2 hr reception. Then you pay an additional fee for each person over 20. You can pick an add on for like a DJ things like that for your reception. I hope this helps. Good luck planning your wedding.

I have had Davids Bridal Alterations add the french bustle to the gown, $89.00 for bustle. This wedding gown has only been tried on for fittings and bustle, my wedding plans have been changed so I need the dress to find a bride to love this gown. Hello, have you found any info on getting your hair done? I am getting married at the Hyatt in April 2012 and I am also trying to figure out where I will be getting my hair done and getting ready. Our weddings are so simular....I am also having my reception back on board the carnival valor for the 1 & 1/2 reception with the dj. My travel agent has had a terriable time trying to reach the wedding department to arrange all of the details. From what I hear the photographers on Carnival are great and the pictures turn out amazing but the package to buy your photos I hear are expensive. Will you be hiring a photographer in Key West? I have called a couple today, but my budget for photos is not the best so I am trying to find an affordable package. Good luck in planning. I would like to hear anything you have to share as far as hair, getting ready and photography. Have you contacted the hip tourest key west? She has some great informatin.

And I booked my package outside of Carnival the same way you did, with a reception back on board. I have a group of about 20 people so far on the carnival with us. Thank you ladies. Here is what I have worked out so far..... We are planning to do the ceremony in Key West, it is more affordable than the Grand Cayman. I plan to the reception back on board after spending the day in Key West. I think we will do the 1 1/2 reception package with Carnival. Originally we had planned on getting married in Ocho Rios, but because it will be the last stop for this cruise we thought we would chage our plans to get married on the first stop in Key West then spend the rest of the cruise celebrating! Alot goes into planning this, and it has been stressful getting things all together. I would love to hear more about your plans luvfordalo. Good luck and happy planning!

Thanks for the info ladies. I dont think I looked into weddings to go yet. I did check out Ezweddings in keywest....but it looks a little cheesy. Since we are traveling for a destination wedding...I want it to look romantic for the ceremony. I just got a quote from the Hyatt, to see what it would cost outside the Cruise line. Carnival uses Hyatt but the cost is alot more than if you do it on your own. I am curious about the reception back on board. kwbride did you book your reception through Carnival? If so do you mind letting me know what it costs? I have a group of about 25 and we are still working on the reception. Hello, I am plannng our ceremony in key west. I have book on the Carnival Valor in April 2012. I have not found a planner or anything in Key West. We have been looking. Any ideas suggestions? We decided not use Carnival for our wedding package because we are in a group and found Carnival to be expensive for a group our size. Congratulations on your wedding and booking a cruise.

Hello, My fiance and I just booked our wedding Cruise on the Carnival Valor in April 2012 leaving from Miami Florida. Ports of call will be Key West FL,, Georgetown Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios Jamaica. A six day cruise. Here is what we are having a hard time deciding. We want to have a beach wedding which is why we choose a cruise for our destination wedding. We have a group of about 20 people coming with us. And now picking the wedding package has been a hard decision. My travel agent keeps pointing out that if we do an on ship wedding package with Carnival we can have up to I think 20 people attend with this package and then do a pp charge for the ppl over the limit. And the reception will be included. Which may be a better choice than Carnival Beach ceremony which only covers the bride and groom. But our whole reason for doing this is a beach wedding. Anyone have any ideas or any vendors you have used in Key West or Grand Cayman outside of Carnival to do your wedding? I have found a few but have not had a chance to talk on the phone with any of them. Now my TA is worrying me because she says booking outside of Carnival runs the risk of "no guarantte" on the ceremony. Has anyone herd of the carnival not stopping at key west or grand cayman? And then I have the recpetion...where beach? ship? So many questions. Open to any all suggestions please! Thank you from an overwhelmed and very anxious bride to be!
