As i posted before we experienced alot of the same problems and are AGAIN with the AHR. we live in kingston, his family is from windsor, mine from sarnia and we are havign the AHR in st. thomas. we figured it was a central location for everyone and my sister so graciously offered her house to hold it at. my parents also have a campground there so it makes it an ideal place to carry the party on after the BBQ. even though it is a central location and only an hour from st. thomas and 1hr45min from windsor (lets note it is 4hr30min from kingston) ppl are still trying to tell us it is TOO far to drive!!! WTF!!! some ppl are just selfish and i am sick of them! like really you cant even drive just over an hour! grrrrrrrrrr well the spiteful biotch in me thinks "just wait til i have a baby" bahahaha.... if they think driving to london is too far just wait til they have to drive to kingston!!! lol ok I am done. Thanks for listening!

what i did for my OOT bags were: towels - with the date and jamaica stitched onto them travel mugs magnets - with our pics welcome letter postcard handmade hemp bracelets i have them out when we got down there

i totallly agree! its crazy now what they charge for anything!! i make good money and hate shopping there cause it is getting redic with their prices......and its not like the quality is out of this world or up to the standard of the price!! i foudna short above the knee strapless blk rouched dress that i loved! and it fit so nice....i even fit into a med.....so i had to buy it! lol.....its for a wedding i am standing in and we get to choose our dresses as long as they are black strapless and above the knee!

all you need to do is sign up (which is free) and then they start sending you emails for discounts and such....another good idea is just make anything and leave it in your cart and they will send you discount emails quicker i think...... thats it no secret...... although i havent noticed any "free" emails lately just 50% off with no shipping charges......

we got the short charteuse (sp?) dress with pockets it was $119 or $99 in the states.

we got the short dress and it was 119$ it was by far the best deal we could find! i just had to buy a BM dress from le chateau and it cost me with taxes $212!!!

we got my girls dresses from davids bridal and they were under $100!!!

RUI is an all ages resort.... which is why we choose it since we had friends coming with kids........ they have kids camps during the day and even though it is a resort that allows kids you dont really notice them as adults which is really nice!

i just put my husbands suit in with my dress and one of my MOHs dress as well. someone suggested that i go to a dry cleaner and just ask for one of their plastic bags...... i didnt bother and found no problems during transport. they have a whole bin you can put your dress in and lay flat.... i am almost 6 ft and my dress fit easily into the bin without folding or squishing. at no time was there any liquids near my dress (until i went into the waterfall that is )

who are you flying with? i had no issues traveling with my dress and the bag was very thin too.......i flew sunwing and had an over head bin for my dress to go into.

Thanks!!!! she actually offered the dj up when i asked how i could play music for the ceremony if i wasnt having a band and she said the dj was included. i will try to find the email and PM it to you. to avoid the extra charges i email Keisha asking what the extra $10.50 was for. she told me extra champagne and cake. i told her i didnt want any extra. she then tried to say it would cost $5.50 for chair rentals. i responded that arent the chairs already there?? she tried to say that they had to rent them from the resturants...which is absurd. so when i went in for my meeting i just brought it up and she never charged me anything!! let me try to find the emails and i will get back to you!

hey lauren, our meeting took 20mins max......but i wasnt adding a lot or changing a lot either....... i dont think you will have a problem at all making it in time. her office is right beside the lobby. as for the wrist bands they let you take them off for the day off you just cant loose them.
