lholcomb! I leave 2 weeks from today too!! YAY so close!!! Okay so I did a calla lilly boutonierre for my fiance, dad, his dad, my brother, and groomsman. The mother of the groom I did a wrist crosage...my mom wanted to carry a long stem flower so I had 3 ivory calla lillies tied together. I'm going to try to upgrade us to First Class for our flight hoping that will help with carrying my dress on the plane, I'm more worried about that than anything. My welcome bags arrived yesterday I had a local company do them that does my shirts at my school and I got them for $5 each! I'm so excited! I'm looking forward to being in Puerto Vallarta just relaxing! I'll check out your flyer when I get home from work!

What is everyone telling people for "dress" for the wedding, I'm sending out a pre-travel email and wanted to include attire for the wedding, but didn't know a good way to word it. IDEAS??

I'm sure your wedding will be amazing, they work together on the weddings, so I'm glad you got a hold of Annie today and got it taken care of! We are SOOOO close I can't even believe it!!!! I finally got mine paid for, it took 3 tries because I wasn't thinking to tell my bank that they would be running that much money from Mexico so my bank put a fraud alert on my account, so finally got my invoice taken care of yesterday!!!

lholcomb! We went to the Island in October! I'm SOOO excited to go back!!! We are so close to our big days! We are staying at the Dreams in Nuevo Vallarta :)

I'm doing the DJ, I just don't want to worry about it at all or worry about someone else do it, but I'm that way, I'd rather just pay to have it done. I think past brides have used the system and I believe they set it up for you. My concern would be my music for the ceremony unless you are using live music for that. Hopefully a past bride that used the "system" instead of "dj" will chime in! Does anyone know what it costs to add colored napkins? I wasn't going to and just decided to do that, I emailed Dennise but just curious if someone else knew.

PAST BRIDES: Question: CUSTOMS....I'm bringing in stuff for the welcome bags, only a few snacks - salt water taffy (my favorite candy) and baby ruth bars(his favorite) that we will put in the welcome bags. Did anyone have any problem bringing in food through customs? It's about 5lbs of taffy and about 40 baby ruth bars. Let me know.....

Table Runners are included. I kept waiting for a price on my invoice, but it was listed up top with the "included" items. I decided to not do Centerpieces...I'm taking the one free one and using the candles and putting pedals on the tables. I think one bride said that she did them and wished she would've saved her money because you are only at the tables for dinner and then move to the beach for dancing.

I bought my welcome dinner dress at David's Bridal I think it's perfect for the rehearsal too!

Boat Ride Over- They want to know what music we want??? Any suggestions? I don't want to take away from the music at the wedding....

Okay, yeah I read that too, I emailed my travel agent and she said Puerto Vallarta is fine, it's other areas in the state. So, I think we will be okay, I'm literally taking transportation from airport to Nuevo Vallarta, not leaving the hotel until it's time for Caletas, and that's about it...so we should be fine. I'll be going in March and will keep you all updated on everything. Thanks for looking into it as well! I about freaked out!!!!

Warning for travel to PUerto Vallarta? Okay I'm 2 months away and my mom just texts me and tells me the federal government just issues a travel warning to Mexico specifically Puerto Vallarta? Anyone else heard this?

I am bringing my own photographer. They are going over in the morning and I do not have to pay extra for them to go over early. I do have to pay a $50 per photographer fee to cover all their meals for the day since they will get lunch and DInner, they are not being counted as "guests" to the wedding.

Okay, I know there has been some anxiety about the wedding coordinators, but I feel like DENNISE rocks! I only met her once when I was on vacation there in October and she was 2 days on the Job. I haven't talked to her much until this point, just an email here or there. I'm 7 weeks out and she has been blowing my email up today which equals a VERY HAPPY BRIDE She sent me a form yesterday to fill out, a New DJ song form to fill out, and I asked for an updated invoice based on what I sent her last night. I was expecting a while to get it updated based on others who are waiting. Had my form sent back with her questions today, an updated invoice. We have sent almost 10 emails back and forth in the past few hours and I think my entire wedding is almost fulling planned and I almost have the FINAL FINAL invoice 7 weeks out. I'm just missing the addition of chair bows on the invoice. So I just wanted to tell you guys, that maybe they are starting to get the swing of things and that I was very impressed today with the service I got. Put a lot of my anxieties at ease! :)

QUESTION!!! Who left from Nuevo Vallarta on their wedding day???? I'm trying to arrange my morning transportation to the boat from Vallarta Adventure Office in Nuevo Vallarta the morning of my wedding and need to know what time I have to be there. I of course just emailed Dennise with "high importance" but I know it takes a few days or so to get back, so I was hoping there was a future bride who left from that port???? Help if you can :)

I go in tonight to start alterations on my dress! My wedding is in less than 2 months! So excited to put it on again, will try to post pics if I get some good ones :) It's the Adore Rose, but I'm taking the strap off and making it a strapless dress :)
