Here is my dress that i wore for my Oct 25/11 wedding!!! I loved it. The dress weighed 500 lbs when i did my TTD in it the next day though LOL I posted a pic from the TTD too

I recommend you print these and wrap them around something to decide what you like best. Personally i like the last one at the bottom of your PDF because it has more font consistency. If i had to pick a graphic though i would go for the palm tress because it looks more elegant and has nice clean lines. No offence and its just IMO i find the stafish look like something out of a childrens coloring book. (sorry i hope i dont insult you) then again i really like clean simple lines in graphic design but i work in the field so i am picky LOL norma_and_ian_wedding[1].pdf tumbler.pdf

The 2.99 is def a good deal if you dont think you can make use of the account for other stuff over the year. I have a lot of events coming up so i am just going to share and re-use it

You can include high res pics. My photographer uploaded some to the site and i was able to download in its full format. I do beleive thats where the fee comes in. At $24.95 for unlimited access, i found it worth it. Especially since there are SOOOO many pics! and copying off facebook doesnt give you the same resolution and there is no way you could email pics at full size. Some of my friends gave me their pics on USB stick which is cool but you cant expect everyone will do that and I wont be seeing my out of town friends soon that were at the wedding so that wouldnt be an option. I am happy with my $25.00 investment. So far there are over 2000 pics posted to the Yogile account i created

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated Ask any questions you would like i would be glad to help and make my recommendations * Question, should I pick the poolside location for my reception or Gabi beach? I'm undecided -I'm a big fan of Poolside its very romantic with the palm trees and landscaping all around, its especially nice with the lanterns. Gabi is nice but i was told a lot of negative things about having the reception section on the beach. Would stay in Gabi or go right on the beach? When i spent some time on the beach i could see that the negative things i was hearing were true. For example the biting sand crabs that come out in the 100's at night and the sand fleas *Where did you have your cocktail party? -My Cocktail party was right on the beach not far from the ceremony, i found this worked best since it was only for a little over an hour. My guests didnt have to go far and the hors d'oeuvres and set up actually would get used. *Did the resort provide transportation from the lobby to the beach or did you walk over over? -Yes, Miguelina had a trolly come to our room to pick us up, they even called us when they were downstairs waiting *Did you purchase centerpieces or did you bring your own? -I knew that i what i wanted would be heavy and difficult to travel with so i decided to purchase it from the resort and they did an amazing job. It was EXACTLY what i wanted. I got mutliple sized glass jars from votive height to about a foot in height with pillar candles in each one on a glass mirror.

(i recommend that even if you dont have people with allergies you may as well tell them you do because there is no charge and they added the extra food for me, no question!). The food was fantastic and the buffet set up was huge and had lots of food to choose from! They never returned a signed contract back. They just ask you to sign to accept their terms. We are doing it poolside as well and I think my fiance is set on it but if I can I would love to save a little money. The resort contracted the DJ for me - they were great and they added in these firework things for our first dance which was a surprise because we never asked for any of that. It was a nice touch. They had great lighting and the MC was great and spoke great English. He is on facebook DjHachib Perez [email protected] No dancefloor, and honestly, you really dont need it. It would be a waste of money especially what they charge. The dancefloor area is flat and dry and works really well. Did you get your make-up and hair done by the spa?? I got my hair done at YHI spa on the resort. The person that did my hair was Yinette. She was a real sweetheart and did an amazing job. I walked in with pictures which she matched really well but then she made the recommendation for my hair do and i fell in love. I never even considered anything like it. I had done the hair trial with her the day before. My make up was done by one of my friends that was on the trip with us. She is my photogs girlfriend and happens to be a make up artist so that worked out for me. The Spa did my moms make up though (since it was included in my package, i gave it to my mom) and they did a beautiful job. Bring pictures of hair and make up! Where did you get your bridesmaid dress?? I bought them in a local store here in Ottawa however the designer is Impressions Bridal so you can probably check online or in a local bridal shop near you. Great quality and the color was exactly what i wanted. Let me know if there are any other questions

Tori, can you elaborate? Your question is a little vague. You can get an answer like "A Canadian is a person living in the Country of Canada" or you can get answers like "Canadians live in igloos and take their dog sleds to work" hahahah <----- That is my personal favorite which I actually had someone say to me once. Or you can get answers like Leigh gave above. Are you just generally looking for blanket statements about who Canadians are and are perceived to be? Sorry for the question but I hate to answer these things not knowing what direction you are trying to go in. Especially living in Canada and how diverse each city in Canada can be. Thank you! definietly one of my best investments in my wedding. i highly recommend it. The actual wedding video is about 60 minutes long and sooooo amazing. plus we have all the footage from the day on DVD as well I would cut corners in my wedding to make sure i had video! great memories IMO

Cant wait to share....still working on my planning thread...its going to be LONG! LOL I bought my pink shoes on Spring online for $40.00. They fit perfect and landed on my doorstep in 3 days. Sears is pretty good too, I got all the guys pants on their website, came quick, cost effective and everything fit well they have a ton of shoes but not sure about sandals at this time of year. You can always try your luck with beyond the rack but its hit or miss with them. Le Chateau (not sure about online but def in store) always has colorful shoes and sandals. Hi Ladies! I'm baaaaaaaaaaack! and I'm a MRS!!!! I came back and got a terrible flu no thanks to being in the sun for 2 weeks in 40+ weather and coming back to FROST Blahhhhhhhh LOL So when i have more energy i will definietly be filling you in and i cant wait to get back to my bdw ladies I've missed this forum! Hi Ladies...I got back last Saturday from my wedding and honeymoon week at Paradisus. I have to say that none of you ladies have anything to worry about. Miguelina is the wedding coordinator at the resort. She is a doll. So sweet, speaks English very well and is VERY accomodating. All my details and everything about my wedding was more then perfect. I to had Teresa plan with me and had worked with her for months and when i found out she was gone, i had a heart attack so close to my wedding. But Miguelina is very responsive and when you get to the resort you will meet with her and she will go over every detail of your day with you. On the day we met with her (day after we got there) we decided we wanted to host a welcome reception for our guests THAT NIGHT!!! She made us custom menu's and printed these cute menu cards and set everything up for us....i had never even booked anything with the resort, it was a last minute decision and she put it all together wonderfully for me on the day of. I would say that if you are not happy with Lauren or whom ever it is that you were assigned to, just go ahead and email Miguelina. She is the one that will be taking care of you on the wedding day and when you get to the resort anyway I have had the flu since i got back so I havent had much time to do my review and planning thread but i will but in the meantime dont hesitate to ask questions.

Ladies, thank you all so much for the well wishes. I should be sleeping as i leave 5 hours but i am just too excited. And i have all the time in the world to nap and sleep over the next 2 week in the sun if i want I will miss you all and my daily check in to BDW.....I have 4 large suit cases, 2 small suit cases, our carry ons and my dress ready to go LOL :-S ...oh and my oversize purse Thank goodness for options plus with my airline and the extra weight allowance or this would cost me a fortune. Its really hard to describe the emotions and feelings and excitement seems to be an understatement. i cant beleive its actually here!!! i'll be back to say hi soon XOX
