I watched it last night! Lots of drama already.Lynn was in a preview for later in the season, but not in the opening of the show as a regular cast member?!?!? I liked Lynn, her and her daughters brought a lot of interesting things to the show.

I'm a planner as well. I always have to have a time frame and have a plan set, well in advance,for everything that I do! Even the most simple and easy everyday things. haha

I have been emailing back and forth customizing my bouquet with Tia Flora. But I have read from other brides who have been married there that you really dont have to make any of those decisions until you get to the resort and sit down with the wedding planner.

Popular month it seems!! My all inclusive rate out of Calgary was $1666 including taxes and everything. But I am traveling in August. We got that rate back in October. Happy planning!!

Not only do I hate the glass clinking, I hate the idea of being interrupted while eating my dinner over and over to have to stand up and kiss my husband! All I want after that long day is just to sit and enjoy my food. haha. I was thinking of actually standing up before dinner arrives, saying that we are going to kiss now, so everyone can clink their glases together, and that was going to be our only kiss during the meal. haha. My FI says we cant do that, but I said we can do whatever we want. haha. I will admit that a game would be more fun though

I have to agree with JayKay.. Im getting married at Gran Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay in August. I have been in contact with the WC and Asst WC since September. I have written a hundred emails to them since Sept, and I find them easy to deal with. Every bride that I have spoken to that has already been married there, says they had a great experience with the WC once they arrived at the resort in the days before the wedding and day of their wedding. I got an all inclusive package, taxes and everything included, leaving from Toronto for my guests for about $1450. Hope this helps:)

I hope it all works out for you Val! I thought Destination weddings were supposed to be less stressful than this! I confirmed my date and times for the ceremony and dinner with Bev, back in Sept or Oct, once I heard that she was gone, I reconfirmed it all with Chandlyn. Other people being able to afford my wedding was a major factor in deciding where we were going to get married as well. It was stressful making the decision, especially when your wedding day is supposed to be about you and your fiancee, but I couldnt help but consider everybody else who we wanted to attend as well. So trying to make it affordable was on the top of my list. We decided on the Gran Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay Jamacia. Our price for our guests, all inclusive, taxes and everything included, was around $1450 from Toronto. For 7 nights. Good luck making your decison and happy planning! Once we made the decision, it felt great!

You are all going through similar situations as I am going through. I hope the rest of your wedding planing goes smoothly. Weddings do really show you who your true and real friends are. I have learned a lot in planning my wedding. There are alot of people that now, I will no longer make a priority or go out of my way to help, because I have been shown that I really dont matter to them. All of that being said, I am trying to focus on the peope who genuinely want to share the day with us, and just being happy about the fact that I am finally getting married. I'm hoping to get some of them too. I'm glad you got your date and time figured out. I have not asked yet if there are any other weddings on my date yet, Im not sure if I want to know because if there is another one or two I think I would stress out about it!
