  1. Thank you so much. I hope you have a great wedding day when it arrives. I am going with Merrick too. I also added him on facebook, he has more wedding pictures that he took on there too. They look wonderful
  2. Anne Heche = Donnie Brasco
  3. I wrote Bev about it, I'll let you know if and when I hear back.
  4. Oh my... I hope not, I will have to ask Bev about that. I have had my date booked and confirmed for about 5 or more months now.. it better not get changed, because someone else puts down a deposit, when I was told I didnt have to put one down!!
  5. Hi, Im getting married there this August.. how did you find your experience at the Gran Bahia Principe? Do you have any important info or tips for brides getting married there?
  6. I am planning on using him for my wedding in Runaway Bay Jamaica in August. Did you have any luck getting in contact with any of his references?
  7. Harrison Ford ( I love him!) = Six days, Seven Nights
  8. Bev told me that since I'm going with the free wedding package that I do not put down any type of deposit. That we just pay for the legal fees and any extras that we chose to have when we are actually down there at the hotel during the wedding week. When I booked my wedding date and time with her back in September, she said it was confirmed as easy as that. No deposit required.
  9. Hi acw271011. Congratulations on getting it all figured out! I cant believe that so many times and dates are already gone for November though! You mentioned that after your wedding ceremony, guests are going to the terrace lobby for hors d'oeuvres and drinks.. is this something that you had to arrange specially? or is this availabe all if the time? I would like to do this for my guests too. Thanks
  10. Mommie Dearest = Diana Scarwid
  11. I thought you would walk to the gazebo from the hotel too, but apparantly its a very long walk to the gazebo. So Bev will accompany you to the walkway in a golf cart or something like that. I think that ride is free with the bigger packages, but you may have to pay for it if you go with the free package. Im going with the free package. The transportation isnt a big deal to me, I will just figure that out once I get there.
  12. akua420, only one week left? How exciting! Best of luck to you. I hope you have so much fun and enjoy your wedding day and your vacation
  13. Im not sure if you got an answer to your question yet, But I asked Beverly about it, and she said dinner can either start at 6, 6:30 or 7pm. I reserved my dinner time with her a couple of months ago the same time that I chose the time of day for my wedding.
  14. Dianne Weist = Edward Scissorhands
  15. Sometimes I hear back from Beverly a few times a day answering my questions and responding to every email that I send her. Sometimes it takes much longer. I wrote her an email over a month ago, and still havent heard back this time. I have to remember to re write that one. I was not too impressed with the pictures from the digimax website either. There was someone who posted her pics from that photographer.( the ten free ones that she had that came wit her wedding package) . I cant remember which thread it was on, I saw them a few months ago, and they did look nice. We are hiring our own photographer from Jamacia, hes coming to the resort for the day.
  16. I lived In Manitoba for a while, and that was what they were called "socials"! I'm in Newfoundland now, its just called your Stagette, or Bachelorette party for the woman, or bachelor party or Stag party for the man.
  17. Adam Garcia = Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen
  18. Maria Bello = Coyote Ugly
  19. You can book your reception dinner time with Beverly beforehand. My wedding is in August, and I have my time booked for our dinner at 7:30, but I think your options are anytime starting from 6-7:30pm, Quote: Originally Posted by TMwedding2011 We are getting married April 12 @ noon. I just plan on sitting around and having drinks and relaxing afternoon and hopefully they will let us have the first sitting at the restaurant.
  20. Arnold Schwarzenegger = The Terminator
  21. Romancing the Stone = Danny DeVito
  22. First look photos are such a sweet idea!! I had actually never heard of it before. I am not old fashioned at all. Myself and my fiancee will be sleeping in our room together the night before the wedding and getting up and getting ready together that day for our pre- wedding photo shoot, which will be a few hours before the wedding. We are going to be wearing bride and groom shirts, that kind of thing. Then we will go our seperate ways to put on our wedding attire, just before the wedding ceremony.
  23. I was worried about the same thing. I am bringing all of my own wording and readings for the ceremony. Im not going by the normal script that the hotel provides at all. Its still going to be a short ceremony though. My wedding time is 3pm, I really didnt want to get married early in the day and to be in a rush in the morning to get ready. Plus we are doing a photoshoot with the photographer at about noon that day, wearing casual clothes before we get ready for the ceremony. Having the ceremony at 3, I think will give me enough time to get some nice pictures with the sun out after the ceremony is over, and then maybe a few with the sun going down, those pictures turn out nice too!
