The only reason I hadn't considered it in the running is that I have contacted them 3 times via email and no-one has ever bothered getting back to me. Do you have an email address for a WC perhaps? Hi everyone ! We are super excited about our upcoming nuptials on 11-11-11. We were/are looking at Cancun and the Dominican, but due to language barriers and a few let downs, we are looking at going back to our first love/idea - LAS VEGAS! We have been to Vegas 6-7 times over the past two years and we LOVE it . We are a super modern couple, both successful in entertainment and media. Thus, we both love glitz and glam, so we want our wedding to be a proper wedding with an edge. Sexy, chic, modern, old Hollywood with an antique gothic look. Blacks, royal purples and touches of red. We are looking at the Hard Rock Hotel's "Rock & Roll" themed wedding http://www.hardrockhotel.com/gather/weddings and also at the new Rumor Boutique Resort's wedding packages http://www.rumorvegas.com/weddings/. We have not been to either of these hotels (we have stayed at Vdara, Monte Carlo, Wynn, Luxor, Paris and NYNY) so am wanting some advice from people that have been and especially those of you who have been married at either of these locations. Thank you soooooooooo much for the reviews Brenners. My fiance and I SO appreciate it. We were extremely keen on ME by Melia, but after lots of back and fourth communication with the WC and the reviews I have read (yours being the most recent) I think we are going to scratch it off the list. The WC was great at first and very helpful, but as my partner is in the public eye, we had a lot of special requests for media and photographers and the guests we are flying in from around the world. The WC took a long time to reply each time and due to my vocation, I am not always near the internet. Thus when I took a few days to reply, she seemed to get annoyed. Very hypocritical and off-putting. The icing on the cake was her telling me the entire time that our date 11-11-11 was available and then all of a sudden, she said it had been booked and I could "have the 12th". Well, if she has ever dealt with a bride, she would know that a gal simply can't just "change her date". We are now looking at your recommendation of 'Ceiba del Mar Beach and Spa Resort', it sounds fantastic and looks gorgeous online. We'll definitely have to check out that one for a site visit. All these hassles with Mexico, sub-standard WC's and the language barrier is starting to make me lean towards our original idea of getting married in Vegas. Not a cheap drive-thur wedding, but a proper gorgeous glam one ... Hmmmmmmmmmn

Yes, please let me know. I would LOVE, LOVE to see pix too. Can you let me know how they are to deal with? Did you do a site visit first?? I am excited already, as you can tell, lol . P.S. I am so excited for you - Feb 7th is just around the corner!

And yes, I am a Flight Attendant and I can assure you that Mexico is very safe. Cancun is absolutely beautiful and just as safe as anywhere I've ever been

What is a good wedding website?? I loved wedsite but it's a lil pricey ... I still haven't sent out our STDs yet. I really want magnet Boarding Passes!!

No replies for yacht or pirate ship charters as yet. I think we may just go to Cancun in Jan or Feb and do some site visits and book everything that way. Seems to be difficult to get replies

I am originally from New Zealand and had wanted to go to Disneyworld ever since I was a little girl. I love Disney princesses and it was a dream come true to be proposed to under the fireworks at the wishing well in Cinderella's Castle. We both cried buckets and everyone clapped - it was so cute We are both so excited to plan the wedding in MX! We are just trying to find somewhere great to get our STD Boarding Pass magnets done ...

My groom has chosen his tux and I think I have found my dress, but nothing has been picked up or tried on as yet ... We are looking at getting married in a super trendy location such as ME and then cocktails at the venue and reception on a pirate ship or yacht

We are also looking at getting married at ME by Melia in Cancun (11-11-11). ME looks fabulous! We are looking for a very stylish and upmarket modern resort and I think ME has that feel for us. Have you done a site visit yet?

I am a "take it as it comes" kinda gal, so I thought I'd start planning around June ... but the date being so popular we've had to start planning now. Hello beautiful brides! Myself and my gorgeous soul mate and future husband were recently engaged in August on my 30th birthday after a dream proposal at Disneyland! :) We are so very excited to be getting married next year and we have just started planning for our wonderful day in Mexico. If any of you have tips on where and where not to get married, have photos taken, photographers, decor, catering etc in the Riviera Maya / Cancun, please feel free to let us know.
