  1. The whole beautiful thing about a DW is that you get to plan what you want to do and not what people expect. The people there probably already know that you aren't the most "traditional" bride if they are travelling somewhere to celebrate your big day. :-)
  2. I had this dilemma too. My FI and I decided to rent a villa, have the wedding there and allow everyone to choose the resort they wanted to stay at, at the price point they could afford. We will plan different activities during the week and people can choose to join us if they want to. I sure hope it works out for everyone.
  3. My FI and I planned for what we could afford. My parents have already told us that they will contribute to the cost of the villa, and bought my dress. I don't feel right asking his family for anything but it will be a nice surprise if they do give us something.
  4. A while ago I read an article about a bride that hired a local restaurant to set up a taco cart at her wedding reception. Has anyone here done this? I am interested in learning more!
  5. I'm not sure where you are hockeymom but I just got some at the store Ardene they were 5/$10. Good luck!
  6. I totally want to do the taco cart!! I had suggested this to my fiance but he thought it was too over the top. How did you go about arranging it..how big was your wedding party and if you don`t mind me asking how much did it cost....thank you for ll your help in advance! Alisha
