    jmred- are you talking about Zona Romantica in Puerto Vallarta? If so it is a little far to go back and forth, about an hour or a little more by bus from Bucerias to Puerto Vallarta by bus, but have never done the trip by taxi so I'm not sure how long that would take, thinking about 30 min or so and about $20-$25.

    all beaches in Mexico are public property so it will be hard to find a truly private beach to get married on unless you go outside the resort for the day. Where are you looking into resorts?

    OMG!!! I love the photos from Puerto Vallarta! I lived there at one point in time, and we are getting married there. I knew there were so many places that we had chances to get beautiful photos and this makes me even more excited.You are so lucky to have such wonderful memories.

    I'm thinking that I want to incorporate the lasso ceremony into our wedding as well. Do any other brides have any ideas on different traditions that they are including?

    My FI and I are going to do most of the photos the day before the ceremony. I am a photographer and can't imagine being able to get everything I want done while having my family wait. I just don't want to miss anything. Also we are having our wedding at a Villa that is about a 20 min drive from downtown Puerto Vallarta and I really want some shots around downtown. I am going to do my trail run for my hair and makeup early in the morning the day before so we have tons of time.
