Ladies Ive been doing all wedding things every single day!! Finally finished my OOT bags with goodies and welcome letters, I am debating on a slide show as I am too lazy to get the photos from my future MIL and my own mom but a BM has volunteered to help me out with this. Mostly we are working on getting the final things we need ie (FI needs a shirt for his suit!, swimming trunks, i just ordered more bathing suits, because i love bathing suits lol). But seriously it seems that everyday something has to be done whether its paying off some wedding bill, finalizing details with WC or straight out packing ....oh my can't wait

yes im doign boutannires for groomsmen and dads. I am doing wrist corsages for moms, although kelley told me i also had a choice to do pin corsages .

So My wedding is 3 weeks from now and Dennise the new wedding coordinator has not contacted me? I emailed her basically everything that I went over with Kelly (things Kelly approved for wedding) down to the T. And now about 6 days later and she has still not gotten in contact with me? I am starting to just get plain upset. Ah just want to vent a little, I've waited so long for it to be my time to plan my wedding details with the coordinator and I get nothing...did i mention I wrote down every detail , and attached every inspiration pic all in one big email to make it easy for her ....boo she better contact me by Monday, otherwise this is just plain ridiculous. Ok done venting now.... I know , I know, I'm sure everything will turn out ok...I hope

Hey Avens, For me I'm just slighty afraid of possible snow. I'm flying out of NY and although it's been unseasonably warm so far for december I'm hoping, praying that myself or none of my guests get any snow during days of travel to Mexico! The last thing any of us need is a delay

Amjohnson, I think you bouquet and theirs are perfect! Their's compliment yours, Your should be the one that stands out the most. However your idea to add a little red to theirs won't hurt either so either way should be good.

You ladies are so lucky to find excellent deals on your dresses , wish I couldve been so lucky...Id love to do a TTD session but FI doesn't want to spend a second day doing pics and while our guests are around.(I guess i agree with him, I do want us to enjoy them while they are there) I am hoping maybe we could do another day once all the guests are gone and I would need a dress to trash...this will take some convincing and planning with photographer...I'll let you ladies know what happens.

Congrats Jaykay on your degree!! Kya, will you have menu cards? I am debating on having these. I thought to maybe have a few to stand on each table. Also I want to work on my programs but dont we have to talk to the officiant conducting ceremony to know what to include on program? I definitely want to have sand ceremony and hands ceremony. ...A reading from bible. But how do I know what order to put it in my program without speaking to officant? I am getting weary on this. I am not a DIY bride so I have to get my order in pretty soon to my designer so I can have them back on time. i also noticed you will be having 32 guests , which is pretty much what I will be having . Are you doing long tables or individual tables? I also have been freaking out abt my dress , and decorations , etc etc. Unfortunately a few of our key guests wont be able to attend as one has recently become unemplyed and another has suffered 2 strokes in 6 months and was told cannot travel for next six months. Also about 2 more spouses cant attend due to lack of money. So I was kind of sad that at last minuete anything can change and people can no longer attend . . It made me wonder why I waited 14 months to give people time to save when they still didnt save ...originally I wanted my wedding last May , but of course I worked around people so they could save money (same people who said they would definitely be there if I gave them time to save ...same 3 still arent going...although Ive seen them take other travel trips this year...so my fiance reassured me , if they didnt save and still went on other trips they never intended to go anyways...see things I gotta learn about people . Cant work around them just have to do whats best for u . ) Anyhow I still excited for everything and know it will be amazing. I cant wait ! and yes im so happy we have this forum to share our emotions and creativities throughout the wedding process.

hey Nika, That's nothing! So let me tell you what happened to me. I bought my dress from a very reputable bridal store in NYC, ( hint: they have a TV show) last december during a trunk show. The dress is my dream dress but at that time the designer himself and I added an attachment to make it my real dream dress. They them said my dress would be ready about 2 months before my wedding date for a first fitting. Well it was and even earlier , was ready by october. However i decided to wait till november 5th. Well let me tell you what happened on the day of dress fitting I was all excited to see my beautiful dress as it had been 11 months since i last saw it , so just as they unzipped it from it's bag, there it was my dress, completely stripped!!! Missing every single pearl/swarovski crytal on it! it was plain which was so NOT what I had ordered. Then the seamstress tells me thats what the order said!! Who ever made my dress read the order backwards so instead of the extra attachment (which was also missing) they made the dress completely PLAIN!!! AHHHH u could imagine how i felt, as panic grew over me. Then they tell me they hope to have the design all ready by my wedding.,( as they would have to get the extra/missing pieces from the designer who is home-based in another country!) . Well by mid-way through the fitting ( Yes i got fitted on this plain dress) they finally found all the embellishments and the extra attachment ( which somehow got detached from dress in their backrooms) . i shed a few tears but was so happy to hear that my dress should be perfect by the second dress fitting which is now next week , and that even if I have to have 10 more fittings its no problem as it is already included in the alteration price i paid ( a very hefty price) ....so it wasnt until about an hour later after I left that the shock finally left me...I mean hey time is ticking and I dont even have a hair comb or jewelry...basically because I am waiting to see finished dress in order to match perfectly. Now that was scary...but I will say the bridal shop themselves does have a great reputation and I did love the way they handled the situation very quickly , making many calls, owner even came to see me. And they resolved everything perfectly. I will also say anyone thinking of buying their dress here who lives close or in NY area, you will not regret going there, it is a great experience and you WILL walk out with your dream dress... anyhow, dont worry Nika all will be good I'm sure.

hi kya have you began your talks with kelley? I started a little though she told me next week she would be talking more to me and that she'd also be assigning the new coordinators for us. Ekk kinda scary now That I realize Ive had over 50 emails over the year with kelley & now I have to put new person up to speed on everything...yikes. Though Im still keeping positive and even if I have to write out a 5 page email to new coordinator with all the info I will.

Ali, Congrats on your wedding. You look amazing. I was just wondering what the sky laterns are? It looks pretty cool , do you light them up and let them go into the sky with a wish? Did kelley provide these ? And lastly when were they done during the ceremony? I cant believe I am 2 months away , I am in the mist of planning and beginning my talks with kelley. Just hope all goes well.

just recieved my oot bags. Love them simple, usable and beachy bought them from ingreeting.com for 3.75 each with my personalized pdf. created by my invitation designer. the pic is dark since it was taken with a cell phone without flash but they have a little arrow next to mexico saying YOU ARE HERE : PUERTO VALLARTA. bag size is 16X16X4 and definitely a big beach bag to hold a towel or clothes plus beach essential ie: sunscreen , lotion etc etc the heart has our intials and wedding date K+S 1.14.12

mllek love love love your jewelry! I am going for my first fitting saturday and will decide on jewelry once I see my dress again. Btw ladies I bought my bustier from Victoria Secret (Back off Baby- Name of bustier) . I searched long and hard for good boob support , and flattering curve-shaping. I went to about 3 lingerie stores plus macys, bloomingdales and did not find anything as flattering/ good quality/sexy and worth the money as this. I think it is now part of their I DO brial collection. Just wanted to add , in case anyone else having trouble with this. As for Busy-bee I know how you feel, people disregard all the hard work you put into wedding planning but Keep high spirts and be thankful for those who you know will appreciate all the details.

HI LADIES so I dont know if it's my time with Kelley/new coordinator yet to sart discussing my january wedding so instead I'll ask you ladies.... I am having Mishka designs make my maracas and the nice thing is they will deliver to las caletas 2 days prior to wedding coordinator. So I also want to have a flip flop basket and am wondering is this can also be ready for me at las caletas? I really dont want to be lugging 40 pairs of flip flops in my luggage has anyone done this before where it is ready at las caletas? next I'd love to have a small decorated tree with tags for wishes or place cards (I know I am overdoing it a bit) But i love the idea of it. Basically I want the convienece of having all my ideas ready at las caletas , does kelley perform all these tasks if not who does ? and I do not want to spend too much extra money , I dont want another coordinator just the services to be delivered...and will new coordinator accept them i wonder ???

Lucky us we went to woodbury outlets (NY) and 1st store ,we went into Hugo Boss which also is his favorite store to buy suits/blazers , there it was the last of two white linen suits in his size, reduced from $700, down to $500 , plus another 20% off. Exactly the price range we wanted Man he looks amazing can't wait till our wedding day with shirt, shoes and everything....aww dreamy hehe Oh I am also working on my pashmina tags which are being made by my invitation designer, she is also working on a design for my OOT canvas tote bags. if anyone want's cheap canvas bags i have found a link that will do a minimum order of 25 www.ingreetings.com

well My RSVP date is sept. 26th and so far we have gotten about 8 replies out of 59 invitations, my FI seems more stressed out than I do lol . Whether I get a reply or not at this point I pretty much know who will be attending, I plan to give the people who have not responded a call by Oct 5th and if they are still iffy, I'm sorry but I am bringing down my room block ...I need to know how many rooms I will need by October 13th. I will let those who want to do "last min. booking" know they are on their own as I am not going to hold a room for them and they might not even end up using it if they find a "better deal" . which btw my own maid of honor is not staying in the same resort as us, I have told her already she will only see us the wedding day at las caletas, and sincerely I just cant stress about it. I am looking forward to enjoying my vacay with those who have and will stay on same resort grounds as us. besides I dont know everyone's financial situations, So I appreciate that they will even make it out. Now on other topics, I still can't figure out what to give as a wedding gift to all guests??? suggestions
