  5. Hi. I'm considering having a welcome cruise for us and our guests the first night or even next day, that they arrive at the resort. Can anyone recommend a site that I can look up prices etc. Also for those who had a welcome cruise, did you also have a rehearsal dinner?

  9. Hi Lisa: Your review was very thorough about your wedding experience at Iberostar and I truly enjoyed reading it as well and viewing your wedding pictures. You gave me confidence to add Iberostar on my list of resorts that we'd like to have our wedding at in Jamaica (Sept of 2011). Congrats to you and your hubby! Good job listing the vendors, too esp the reggae band because I definitely want a band for our cocktail hour!
  10. I'm curious to know any wedding resorts in Jamaica, if any of you past brided were able to the sample the resorts food and cake from the menu before committing and making a decision about that hotel(s)?
  11. Hi everyone: My name is Tiffany and my fiance are planning a destination wedding in Jamaica next Sept 2011. We're planning a trip down to JA next month to visit a few resorts, however so far we only have one appt set up and that's with Rose Hall Resort & Spa. We're looking to have an intimiate wedding, all inclusive etc. My fiance was born and raised in Jamaica, so we really want our guests to have an awesome time (esp for those flying to JA for the first time.) Can anyone offer any recommendations of hotels that we should get in contact with? I've emailed Iberostar and I'm still waiting for a reply. Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you.
  12. I thank you all for posting your input regarding the Sandals resorts. This is one of the hotels my fiance were considering to visit and possibly have our wedding in Jamaica. Their rules and restrictions are not sitting too well with me, especially the times they offer for a wedding - the latest being 2pm?? That's so ridiculous! I will keep researching other hotel resorts.
