futurewifey2011, i dunno bout the other girls but i requested a rehearsal at the ceremony site. it's set for the day before my wedding, after my hair trial.. then were all booked in at the main buffet as our rehearsal dinner. my wedidng planner set all this up with my WC. so i'm sure it can be done if you ask well in advance.

cdlillad- those are really cute ideas!! i don't have a flower girl but i saw on some website an actual shell shaped ring bearer pillow that i may order. although your idea may be cheaper lol i love them!

i wondered about the humidity too, my face gets oily fast with makeup on in the first place :S my friend/BM is doing our makeup

Yes, that is exactly what I want because I'm bringing down the photographer that did our engagement photos here in BC with us. Just paying her way and she is doing 400 photos for us so that's perfect!!

melady24- thanks for answering how long the walk is!! thats beautiful amount of time. i got the blissful package that comes with 10 free photos, will he only do the ceremony for that package as well? because i only want him to shoot the ceremony and thats it lol

Saucy Friend- ya the white fabric is included. i'm bringing hot pink fabric down just to add some extra color. thats all. the decorations included are the white fabric on it and a bouquet of flowers on the table and white bows i think on the chairs. my colors are hot pink and black so im bringing hot pink fabric and getting them to set it up for me!

Julie2011- are you doing the akumal hammock site for ceremony?? if so, i wonder how long it takes to walk down that aisle tooo!! im using Jason Mraz's- I'm Yours for my song, and I want to at least get to the part that says "im yours" and i know it takes 50 seconds to get to that part lol maybe if i walk real slow!! i was told 4 songs. one for bridesmaids, one for you, one for signing and one for recessional. but i want to add a 5th one for when the guests are arriving to take their seats. unless they have music for that?

cdlillad- that is a freakin adorable cake topper! and funny cuz my fiance is wearing that exact outfit! lol Wcook- i remember seeing somewhere on this thread that this one bride brought 12-13 yards of fabric but it didn't touch the ground. I'm bringing 15 yards down just in case, and if there is extra their just gonna make bows for the chairs out of it

Megz- for our wedding, we are just choosing one of the bars to meet at and have some drinks to fill in our time, its free cuz your just taking advantage of the all inclusive! After the ceremony and champagne toast, i'm having all my guests meet at the beach bar for drinks while we do photos, then by that time it's time for dinner (our ceremony is at 3 and was told the ceremony, signing amd toast will take me til almost 4ish) then after dinner til the disco opens were all going to the piano bar (ya they have one!! woo) for drinks til the disco opens. just an idea! congrats and good luck!

cdlillad- i was just given 3pm lol but she said that was the best time because by the time we start doing photos which will be around 4pm the sun is at a perfect light for photos and 5pm its starting to go down. thats in november though. whens your wedding? i originally was thinking i wanted it at 4pm but they just gave me 3pm, i could move it if i want, but if the lighting is good then great and it gives us more time for photos since dinner is at 6, i hate feeling rushed

saucy friend, hmm interesting because i was told it opened at 8. but she also said there was shows and other bars we could go to first if we didnt wanna go right away, what a liar! ha ha thats okay, i'm positive we'll figure out what to do. my wedding is Nov 2nd of this year. and my WC is Eugenia

i didn't really look at the flower options because i just wanted simple lillies. my first choice was pink stargazer lillies, then i decided i like calla lillies way better, but they only have calla lillies in white. my day is basically going like this: 3pm ceremony, 4pm photos and champagne toast, everyone meets at one of the bars (i'll choose later) while we get pictures done, 6pm dinner at Dolce Vita, 8pm either going to the sports bar for some drink then heading to the disco or just going straight to the disco. my wedding planner is making itinerarys for each of my guests that have everything were doing and where we'll be at what time and when. Yes the hair trial is included in the "blissful love" pkg which is what i got and the hair the day of wedding is not included, but she somehow worked her magic and got my hair the day of included as well at no extra cost, which was fantastic cuz theres $85 i don't have to pay! bringing my own fabric because i want to make sure i get what shade of hot pink i want, and i'm also bringing fake starfish down to line the aisle with. wedding planner said that they'll charge you an arm and a leg for this extra stuff, but if you bring it yourself, they will set it up for you at no extra cost.

Hey ladies!! I had my meeting with my wedding planner last monday and I found out my WC is Eugenia, anyone else had her? Is she good/nice?? Also, my wedding is at 3pm :) My hair trial is booked for the day before at noon then we're doing a rehearsal at the ceremony site and meeting at one of the buffets for rehearsal dinner! My wedding planner was awesome, she got my hair trial and my day of hair all included in my package! Hair for myself and my girls are booked starting at 10am which is awesome, not too early!! Unfortunatley, since I am bringing my friend/photogrpaher down and paying for her as a guest I did not want the 10 free photos that come witht the package but i did want a videographer, hoping we could sub the 10 free photos for the videographer instead but that was a no go, was a bummer but oh well. She did say I was able to request the resort photographer only be there for the ceremony which is what i want. Picked my bouquet, its gonna be white calla lillies with a couple other pink flowers Fiance and I picked our restaraunt and menu yesterday! Practically everything is booked and good to go! I have nothing left to do for it except wait and get my fabric to bring down as my decoration-- which i did not realize fabric can get so expensive! sheesh. Anyways just wanted to share my excitment and see if anyone has had Eugenia. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask! xx

Jemma- I am bringing my own photographer from home. I'm just paying for her trip and she is doing 400 photos for me, but since she's booked to stay as a guest she will be attending my wedding as a "guest" that likes to take a lot of photos lol

ah ya im totally opposite. we live close to almost all of our family and A LOT of them are b******g about us marrying in mexico and the price blah blah blah, so the reception better shut them up! lol we're having a videographer as well so we can play the ceremony at the reception

Nov 2nd Akumal Hammocks Beach location :) I'm super excited!! Haven't decided if i wanna spend more to have a reception though cuz were having a big reception at home, spending almost 11,000 on it Are you doing the legal ceremony?
