I bought my bouquet from Angel's Accents...they have the most variety Ive come across so far. Angelyn the designer is amazing; very friendly and answers your questions quickly! We are staying 2 weeks..we have travelled to the caribbean a lot and have found that one week passes by too quickly (especially if you are busy with the wedding stuff for half of that time). We have approx. 40 guests attending (so far) and 10 of us in total are staying the 2 weeks; Im not big on 'alone' time xoxo

Hey guys, Ive e-mailed Tiara and no reply yet so I was wondering if any of you guys might know the answer to some questions I have. So Im thinking of getting the Tiffany chairs...do you guys know what colors they come in? Im also thinking of getting centerpieces for my reception; anyone else getting them? If, do you have an idea of what they cost...i know its $70+ b/c it depends on what you are getting but just an idea of the cost would be great. i.e. roses vs. orchids, etc Also, Im guessing the price included the vases as well...do you guys have an idea of the types of vases they have...any pics? Hi SunandSand...thats really good to hear. I will make sure Tiara confirms that with me and once she does I will print out all of the e-mails she sent me like some of you are doing just to be be on the safe side...you never know

I booked HDC for my wedding in September 2010 and they have been amazing so far. I booked them for both my photography and videography and I decided to go with the Platinum Packages for both; this is one area I do not want to be cheap towards...pictures and images are all you are left with after your wedding day is over I've had quite a few problems with my wedding coordinator (i.e. not confirming my wedding date; changing my wedding date after I had already booked with HDC, etc) and Arnaud was extremely understanding and patient. I have read only wonderful things about them; I haven't yet come across one single bad review so far Im extremely excited to have them photograph and record my wedding

Hi Girls, So I had an interesting night last night thanks to Tiara So after confirming over the phone numerous times and via e-mail that September 10th 2010 would be my wedding date (even though I would be in Dominican Republic only 3 days and not 4), Tiara finally sent me my official written confirmation for my wedding date BUT for the 11th!!! I went crazy when I saw this; I had already booked my Photographer and Videographer for the 10th. And knowing how long it usually takes her to answer back, I was really worried. So I wrote to her to change it to the 10th...then had to write back to my photographer that I might have to switch it to the 11th. So you can just imagine what I felt like during those hours until I would receive a reply back from them. Miraculously, she wrote back within the same night...As others have mentioned on this forum, putting "URGENT" in the title of the e-mail gets you faster responses from her. So then I check the e-mail again, and she had changed the ceremony time...I dont want to become a bridezilla but if we decided on September 10 2010 at 4:00p.m., why cant she just keep it like that? So then of course I wrote back to her and she finally made all the right changes. Then I wrote to my photographer/videographer and told to ignore the last e-mail I had sent. So now I read on the forum that you have to pay additional $ to be served alcohol? I want to reserve the patio at the SSG so I was going to pay for the menu per person, but I thought this included the drinks as well! I will let some time pass and I will ask Tiara about it. xoxo

So I booked my photography and videography with HDC last night and I got the platinum package for both; it was just a little under $2000 but honestly, the pictures and images are all your left with after the wedding is over... Congrats Bridget! Your wedding was absolutely beautiful...I actually had tears in my eyes when I saw your pictures and heard the song lol The idea of hanging lanterns in the gazebo is something Ive thought of for a long time but wasnt sure how it would actually look...but after seeing your pics Im at really considering doing the same thing with hot pink and chocolate brown. Did the resort hang them up for you? Where did you buy them from and did you use a fishing line to hang them? xoxo Bee

Hello I just joined today and finally just finished reading all 60+ pages of info you guys have written. Thank you so so much for all the great info! It has answered many questions that were still left unanswered by Tiara. (I now understand why she takes so long to answer back..the poor thing is so busy! lol) I am getting married at Dreams La Romana on September 10th 2010 and had my date confirmed last week so I am super super excited. This resort is just absolutely breathtaking and the Gazebo overlooking the blue ocean was the main factor that made me say "This is the one". I am also booking my photographer and videographer from HDC photos So far, Ive also bought my dress, invitations, place cards and favors and I have 40 people booked so far I will keep you updated with any info I receive throughout the next few months.
