Amy did they email you back quickly? I have emailed them for prices but want to book them ASAP!!! Did you pass on their details for Tiara to co-ordinate with them or did you have to make all the arrangements with them yourself? I AM BEAMING!!! I booked with HDC as well (photography and videography)....Im totally excited!!! Their work is just absolutely beautiful and the prices I find are fair. I have read many reviews on HDC and I have not come across ONE single bad review They have done wedding at DRL before so you dont need Tiara to coordinate with them I dont think...I just briefly mentioned it to her. I think Amy mentioned that you need to pay for their day pass so they can come into the resort and I think thats about it. xoxo

  6. Amy congrats and thank you for the great review once again. I had a quick question in regards to your cake! It was absolutely beautiful! Could you give me some info on it (are those flowers real provided by the resort? If now, where did you get them from? Where did you get your cake topper? What flavor did you get for the cake and did you provide Tiara with a picture of it? Thanks so much and sorry for all the questions. ****Ok last post for now I promise...this is what happens when you fall behind on this forum LOL
  7. Im so sorry to hear all these horrible stories about hairstyles for the wedding day....really freaks me out; I have to start practicing doing my own hair since I have very long and pretty thick hair; I look best with it straight but I need to do something so it doesnt look boring (so far im thinking half up and with sideswept longer bangs); curls dont last too long for me since my hair is long and heavy! Thanks for the heads up ladies! xoxo

Hi KPEG, Im almost done writing my whole script (sand ceremony included). I got all of the ideas off BDW from other brides who posted theirs. I looked through all of them and took parts of it which I felt were singificant to me and my fiance. As soon as I am done with it, I can send it to you if you would like. What is your e-mail? xoxo

Congrats to the two of you So glad to see another happy review about the resort and HDC Thank you for sharing with us!

Please find out from Tiara before if you do not have the package- I assume the dj would not be free than I e-mailed Tiara about this...hopefully she will get a chance to answer soon! I cant wait to see pictures of this...It totall sounds like something I would want to do...Tulle with lanterns and no flowers Im guessing they have pink tulle (ive seen it in other bride's pictures). Thanks so much again for the info xoxo
  12. Congrats to you and your husband! You looked beautiful and the pics turned out great! Thank you so much for writing a review for us...it really helps a lot! Hope to see more pics soon xoxo p.s. Thanks for the add on FB
  13. Hi Dasha, Welcome back and congrats to you and your new hubby Thank you so much for the wonderful review! Im so happy to read that you had a beautiful wedding...makes me less and less stressed to see that all of the DLR brides so far have been extremely pleased. I have a few questions for you if you dont mind me asking; Quote: Originally Posted by odarcka I checked a few weddings from far away before my own and I loved the way the hotel decorated the gazebo with tulle. I was very worried about how it would look, but when I saw it walking down it looked so amazing I can’t even describe it. I never thought of adding tulle in addition to the lanterns Im bringing down with me but that sounds so beautiful. If you could post pictures of that for us that would be wonderful! Thank you so much xoxo

Tiara had said once I believe that it could be moved into one of their ballrooms, but we didn't have to worry about that and neither will you because it's NOT going to rain for you! Im so happy to see that the SSG deck is that big so I can have my first dance and father-daughter dance right there and you are right...It will NOT rain on my wedding day! lol

Sometimes I e-mail her once again the message since so many people write to her, your e-mail can even get overlooked which is totally understandable. Since your situation is an urgent one as you have to book now, I would contact her once again and add *Urgent* in the subject of your e-mail. xoxo

I have a form from Tiara with all of the extras for 2010. Extras 2010.pdf

You mixed me up with Jenne; she already had the wedding and wrote a really amazing review and posted some pictures on this site if you want to check them out! I have several pictures of the Gazebo which I collected from this site and other places I can send them to you when Im back in town if you would like; Let me know your e-mail! xoxo

Was it yourself who was considering renting the SSG? Hi Taylorbabe; I am getting the Tiffany chairs so I have a pic of them which Tiara sent me. They are a little pricey I know but Ive always envisioned having a wedding with Tiffany chairs They cost $15 per chair and you can use them both at the ceremony as well as at the reception! They come in white, silver, gold and brown! Here is a pic: There are some other chairs which you pay $8 for but Im not too sure what they look like; I believe its those white folding chairs which are also really pretty.

Can anyone give me any tips and advice? Tiara has very kindly forwarded me some information today but I wondered if any of you brides can help!! Happy planning everyone!! Hi Flowersfizz28; If you want something really private, I would do both the ceremony and the reception at the Gazebo The Gazebo is in a more secluded area and it is just beautiful; it overlooks the ocean! Also, I read that you can also have the reception dinner at the Gazebo (not sure about the cost; you can ask Tiara) and it only holds up to 12 people so it would be perfect for you. You can decorate it so beautifully..with lanterns which you can light up at night with led lights! My wedding is all the way in September so I havent been to the resort yet but I have been researching a lot and planning a lot (pics, info, etc) So if you have any other questions maybe I can help xoxo
  21. Hey, Here is a pic of my bouquet...it looks a lot like what you described The flowers in the bouquet are white and green orchids and pink and white peonies! Hope this helps! xoxo
  22. Hey guys, Pastor Rick contacted me and looked around and could not find any other pastor that can do ceremonies in English. Ahh well; its ok. I talked to my WC and she is willing to do my whole ceremony for free (my main concern was that it would be too long for her but she said she is willing to do it for me so Im pretty happy about that). Thanks guys for the info. anyways! xoxo
  23. Jenne, I forgot to ask one more thing (whats new lol). I was wondering if you could PM me your facebook name so I can add you ...I wanna see the pics as well *lol* VallieR, Dolfinluck and KPEG...Im so excited for you guys Cant wait to have my "bride moments" as well. xoxo
  24. Jenne, thank you so so much once again! The pictures are just perfect!!! Honestly, you made it so much easier for me to envision what I can do with the place. In regards to picture below, is that still the same SSG deck? If so, did they move the tables out of the way for the dancing or there is so much space left at the end of the deck? What happens if it rains? Which location do you get moved to? Thanks sooo much for all your help again! xoxo Quote: Originally Posted by jenne At the right part of this picture is where you would come onto the deck.
