  1. Might be a dumb question, but how long will these freeze dried petals last for? My wedding is in December, and would like to look into this, but I wasn't sure when to order. Do they start to go bad at all? Anyone know? I looked at the website but didn't see anything, maybe I overlooked.
  2. We plan also to have a steel drum band play during the ceremony... it' so Jamaican and I love it!
  3. WOW! Good luck with everything, and safe travels! I can't wait for my trip so I can have that lovely Jamaica Rum drink in my hand too
  4. Thanks for the response! I didnt envision anything extravagent. It would be laid back, possibly at our home, even if we did it after we got back. No wedding dress, etc. The only thing I am concerned about too was the guests wanting to see pics/video of the wedding. My finace suggested though that we make sure to forward out our album via email when we get back to all our guests instead, and also upload the video too. This way they can watch on their own time and still get to see everything. So that relieved my concerns a bit too with this.
  5. Hi brides, Have a question my finace and I have been toying with. We are thinking about possibly having a reception before we have our wedding, most likely the weekend before we leave. It was my finace's idea and he has been calling it a "Bon Voyage" party or something along those lines. I wanted to get your thoughts on here about this. At first I rejected the idea because I had the vision of coming back to have the reception at home afterward and the guests being able to view our pics/video that were not able to make it to the wedding. But have to admit that the "Bon Voyage" reception is growing on me...On a side note-we are getting married in December, and by the time we return it's Christmas, then New Years... so we couldnt have our party until middle of Jan or so anyway. Thoughts? Like or dislike the "Bon Voyage" Party? Thanks for any feedback!!!
  6. Thanks for sharing the pics! I have heard many good things about Crazy J and we will be sure to request him! I'm so excited!!! I appreciate everyone's help!
  7. Hi Maureen! I have heard as well on other sites like Tripadvisor that the ocean fronts are the best! I guess we are just trying to be more cost effective and save a little on the room and go with the deluxe or premium. It would be nice though if they upgraded us to the nicer rooms if they have the availability. Is that something that is common with Breezes? I have read also on other sites that some people, like J2K stated above, do get upgraded rooms for free. Do you know if this has to be asked for at check in or is it just something that they do automatically? Thanks for the help!
  8. Thanks J2K! Did they just automatically upgrade you for free since they had the availability or did you pay extra? Just curious, and thanks for your help!
  9. Hi Brides! Anyone ever been to BRB and know how the rooms are? I know the difference between the premium and deluxe is the way they face. Premium=inward toward the gardens, and Deluxe=outward. We want to book either premium or deluxe to be more cost effective. Are the premium rooms really worth the extra $? Also does anyone have a suggestion to request a specific room(s) or area? Thanks!

  11. Thanks for the reply ronsoliman! I did also email the WC at RPTB to see if they would also allow outside vendors. I am really interested in Sungold or Misha Earle. They take gorgeous photos from what I have seen online, as well as others testimonies from the forum.
  12. Hi ladies! Does anyone have some sample photography pics from their wedding at RPTB? I am trying to find some samples since Western Digital does not have a website with galleries for viewing. I want to be able to get a feel for how they shoot the pics. Thanks much!
