  1. Worse than Exxon Valdez!! I'm thinking about that commerical with the poor animals too! This is devastating!
  2. We found a local Chocolate/coffe shop called Ah Cacao. I found out about it from posts here! We're giving small bags of Mexican chocolates. There are some really cool ideas on here! I like the mini tequila bottles!
  3. Wow! This resort is amazing! I kind of wish I would've seen this before I booked ours! That gazebo is so beautiful!

I didn't even think of Walmart! Thanks for the tip!

I suggest you use the lady I used - tell her I sent you - Susan Vincil from CancunAndRivieraMaya.com - email is [email protected] They use a lot of different tour companies - so all of your ideas she can price out for you. Its so much easier than contacting 3 different vendors yourself. Or, you could do a trip into Cancun one night or day. Susan lives down in that area so she can give you some other ideas. Good luck! This is really good info! I'd love to do all of it in one day for a set price! Thanks for sharing!

Printable Beach Wedding Invitations - Ocean Invitations Thanks for sharing! I've been trying to find good, inexpensive invitations!

But yeah I know what you mean when it feels like you're forever away from getting there. Forced me to start commenting like a nut on everything and anything even if it was just to agree or say 'thanks for sharing'. You know I was like I need my 150 posts DAMNIT LMAO And Lily no they totally don't get it. My FI is like why are u spending all this time chatting with a bunch of women you've never met?? Maybe if I explain in golf terms, it would shed some light on the situation :-s lol Mind you he seems to have picked up a liking for the Jason Mraz song from all the sites and slideshows - hee hee My FI sounds like he's on the same boat as yours!! Golf terms would make it much simpler for him. I'm addicted to this site now and Project Wedding. I've gotten a lot of useful info from here too looking around all the different threads. I even found a ton of pictures of a beach bride that has my dress! Haven't been able to find one anywhere else!
  9. I just booked Playa Weddings and they've been great to work with so far. Their work is beautiful and they're thousands less than the videographers in my area.

I think I'm wearing a cathedral length veil for the ceremony and some of the pictures then taking it for some pictures and the reception. I've been told the weight of a longer veil won't blow around as much in the wind.

I know exactly how you feel! If only we could just get the attachments we need from Ana...sigh. I'm so far behind you in posts!
  12. Futuremsmoulton: That's such a beautiful ceremony! Thank you for the inspiration!
  13. I bought the Sterling and I'm so glad I saw the pictures of a real bride in it!! Thanks for posting Mel!

We were just going to use what they offered for our symbolic ceremony. Has anyone heard from Ana to see what the options are?

Thank you so much for posting!!!! It looks like a pretty good variety.
  17. Does anyone have the menu for the buffet? Our guest number is really getting close to forty and I've been told that your only option is the buffet if you have more than 40.

Anel and Juancarlo did a fantastic job. We are having our reception in our home town this Saturday and so I will post our wedding pics after that! Happy planning ladies!!! Congrats! I'm so glad everything went well! Can't wait to see your pics!
  22. We originally thought we would only have around 20-25 guests but our number is fast approaching 40. We already got the menu choices for our package based on 25. Does anyone have the buffet options for the Dreams of Love package?? TIA!

Like I said in a pp. THANK GOODNESS for this site b/c otherwise I would seriously be like wth lol Seeing the beautiful weddings from recent brides as well as realizing that everyone is pretty much going thru the same thing has seriously calmed me down period. Weddings are their business and they seem to pull them off fairly flawlessly so I'm officially chilling out LOL I have the emails with her confirming my day and time in case of any mishaps on her part - if you don't want to take my money right away ... I'm not going to fight you LOL I have the same feelings. After seeing some of the beautiful weddings and reviews I am a lot more relaxed. It took almost 4 months from my original email to get the contract and deposit back to them so I was pretty worried too but this site has really helped put my mind at ease. I also found the companies doing my photo/video and ceremony decor from this website!
