Hey ladies, I feel like I've been so absent lately!! Does anybody know, how do the cocktails work for the reception? Do they have a bar set up right there and is there a limited assortment of drinks? I'm making my menu right now and wanted to include a "signature drink". Taking a fun poll. . . anybody else have a signature drink and what is it?

Oh, very good point!! We'll do ours during daylight on the beach, hopefully no flashes!

Dianep- I have been in contact with the WC's at the resort for a while now. Michele said that I could pay when I got down there, which I had never heard before. Again, Im keeping all my emails so if they try to pull something I will raise h*ll!! Im also trying to keep in contact with her several times a week so they can let me know if Im missing anything. OH, and thanks for your input on the lounge furniture. I don't want my 50 guest to have to stand all night so I hope they keep the tables!!

Adriana Wow, that is a really good price! Could I have that info? With all this talk of lounge furniture it makes me wonder where people will sit if we don't have it. Has anyone else thought of this and what are you doing if you aren't getting lounge furn.? Do they at least keep the tables set up? Thanks!

Oh RaychelRae I went through the exact same thing!!! I bought several fuschia shoes trying to find the exact color and heel higth and it was a challenge. Lots of returns! Finally I settled on caparros italia in fuschia (the LAST pair sold ever). Still not my true love but I just got sick of buying/returning. Thankfully, I still love to shop so what size are you? I seem to come across Stuart's all the time and will let you know! Oh, and I thought I found a website that dyes shoes to your pref so I will try to find that too

You ladies are all right!! I was nervous at first and then it was no problem at all! It goes so fast. I worked with Eliza Portrait Designs in Omaha, Nebraska and she was awesome, very professional and knew exactly what poses looked best. Oh, and she had champagne ready for me when I got there. She helped me pick out my outfits, I brought two bags worth of fun stuff. My advice. . . 1. Put on your outfits at home and practice posing. I know it sounds weird but it helped me know what to do and what poses looked good. 2. Bring lots of different outfits, shoes, jewelry. A lot of mixing and matching goes on and some outfits look better in different poses. Start with a less revealing outfit or your least favorite cuz those first photos will feel awkward 3. Think sexy and go for it. . . the photogs are very professional and its easy to feel comfortable around them after a few minutes. Just think about your end product and image what you want it to look like. I imagined my honey looking at the photos and though "what would he like to see?" Personally, I didn't want to hold back and regret it later 4. Have so much fun. You will probably do nothing like this ever again so live it up!! bring music that pumps you up, have a glass of wine! I am so glad I did this 5. Last one. . . don't work out before, posing is HARD WORK. . . like Yoga!! I was so tired after three hours, some poses I was shaking due to muscle fatigue-haha HAVE FUN!!

OMG my shoot is tomorrow. . . and I haven't been nervous until now! My FI is out of town this week and so I have a great supply of jersies, shirts and hats of his so that should be fun. Thank you so much for all the tips! I think the most fun part about this is thinking of his face when he sees the book, his jaw will drop!! This is so unlike me, can't wait til its done!

Candice- We keep going back and forth on this light up dance floor. Just can't decide if $700 is worth it. I just hate the idea of a plywood dance floor on the sand. . seems so cheesy. What made you and Ricky decide to go with it?

Has anyone been able to reach Veronicas on 5th for massages and spa services? I would appreciate any email or phone # to book our appts. I have heard it is the best/cheapest place to go for these services.

I think I agree. . . .they prob don't even know how much you are paying or even that you are paying for them to come that day. Just let them know and they will understand

From what I remember a couple years a go when i was in Cancun (end of april) it rained a couple of days from about 9-10am and then was beautiful the rest of the day, so it didn't interrupt any outdoor plans. I hope it is still this way!!
