Im working on this too! I really like the white linen pant and shirt idea. Does anybody think that black pants would be too hot. I want the guys to coordinate with my girls who are wearing black dresses. I love pics where the guys are wearing dark outfits, it makes the brides dress really pop!

Ok, I finally got confirmation that my wedding with be at 2pm (phew!) and reception at 6pm. Other than the cocktail hour does anyone have any suggestions of what to do for the three hours in between for my guests. I don't want them just hanging around confused!!

Welcome and congratulations!!! How exciting! I highly recommend the Royal Playa del Carmen, that is where mine will be in May. If you want children, the Gran Porto Real is just across the street and is good as well. Happy Planning to you too!

Oh, one more thing. I haven't been able to find anything on this forum so far but does anyone know anything about Mike Cantarell, he's a videographer/photographer. I can't seem to find any threads on him. His work seems good on his webpage.

hi taapple Congrats on your engagement. That is exactly where I ran into problems. My TA confirmed with the U.S. WC but then the WC has to contact the resort to make sure. My miscommunication happened when the WC failed to send me or my TA the email saying my time slot was not avail. So my advice is work directly with Zulma if at all possible or contact her to confirm dates/times. There just seems to be too many people in the communication line and things get lost. The good thing is my situation was a rare one, but I would follow up anyways! Good luck with everything! Lynds

Hi AStreit! Just since October. Actually I have been having a really hard time. I booked for May 14 at 4pm in gazebo last Oct. There was massive miscommunication and my date and time was given away. I was unaware of this until this last Monday so now I am freaking out!! Luckily Zulma was able to get me a time the same day (the only time left all week except 10 am. . yuk!) It has been a huge mess! So now I am starting to work out details with her and she is amazing! That is so cool you are from Omaha, we prob have been at Enchanted at the same time! We should get together in Mexico. Congrats on your engagement. . .isnt this fun!! Lynds

Hi A&K Congratulations on your wedding!! Everything looks so beautiful!! Are you from Omaha? I have to ask because I, too, have been working with Enchanted Honeymoons and been having a horrible time. I booked my wedding for May 14 at 4pm. I happened to call Angie (our WC) on Monday to start on reception stuff and our time was actually never booked due to miscommunication. Needless to say it has been a very stressful two days trying to re-book my wedding for that day (already have 30 guests booked already!!) I guess I relied too much on them and not Angie (thought I was helping her out!) Congrats again!

I would love some feedback on a few things if there are any brides out there that had your wedding at the Royal: Pictures: Are the photographers good or should you find your own? Reception: What to do? Private on the beach? Should we get the DJ or is there plenty to do without paying the extra? Who decorates the gazebo? Do we need to make our own programs and bring them? Any other helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
