  1. Take a lot of pics and then give a small photo album with a note inside telling them that you will mail them a cd of pics from the wedding/vacation. Should be relatively inexpensive and memorable

I love your gift bags. Where did you get them? Did you schedule the welcome dinner directly with the restaurant? How soon did that have to be done?

I turned it up pretty loud in the warehouse and made John go to the next aisle to make sure it was clear and loud... HOLY CRAP WAS IT LOUD!!! It made me think that I can just use this for the reception..... I don't know if a DJ is necessary.... any thoughts Why are some of you going with a DJ or not using one? I am having the same issue. At first I thought I totally didn't want to spend the money but now I am having second thoughts. I want it to feel like a reception and don't know what it would be like with an ipod? Will we be missing out?We are probably going to have around 30 people attending(is that too small for a dj)? I also have a bose ipod docking station...maybe I should just use this??AHHH help....

Do any of you have a phone number for me to call her? Thanks! Casey Here it the number I used last time I called 011-52- (99 872-9200.I just asked for the wedding coordinator.
  5. It has been almost a month since I have received a response from Ana....I am starting to become impatient. I know she has a lot of brides to tend to but a month?
  6. Not sure if anyone has posted anything about this or not, but how do we pay for the remainder of our wedding (pkg, flowers, dj etc)? Is it due before the wedding or at the end of your stay?

I created a wedding website and put all of my TA info on there so that my guests could call her directly to get pricing and to book their rooms.
  9. Laura thank you sooooo much for posting the review! It has been very helpful:) Can't wait to see your pictures!

I can see that there are going to be some misunderstandings along with way with Ana as I asked her a simple question but got an answer I didn't really understand but hey, everything will be fine when we all meet her to finalise our weddings. Can you please post pics of the cake options ana sent you? thanks!

  14. Is anyone getting married at the gazebo? It looks so beautiful on the DRC website....but little nervous with all the talk of how close it is to guests! I have heard that they are trying to block off areas when there is a wedding? Also I want to decorate it w/out spending tons of money. I was thinking of maybe looking into those round paper lanterns, on big on med and one small in my wedding colors and hanging them under the center (instead of flower pomanders). Any ideas or anyone who is thinking the same thing?

And I feel a little selfish because I know our guests would enjoy the DJ far more than they will about a great photographer being there! What are your thoughts and what are you going with? Hi Ashlynn! I totally understand where you are coming from! I have decided to go with the resort photographer(as many people have seemed very pleased with their pics). I will have prob 25 people at my wedding and debating whether to do the dj or ipod. I would love to have a dj but it costs so much and would it be odd to have a dj for such a small crowd?
  17. hi SummerDawn! I completely understand how you feel. I felt the same way a month ago. We are going to have a small wedding with on child....so it had to be a resort that allowed kids. We ended up picking Dreams Riviera Cancun. I liked that they had premium alcohol a swimup bar, no reservations for the restaurants and a heated pool. Also the rooms look pretty and the beach looks nice. They have a fb page if you want to check it out. To help you decided I would call a couple different travel agents and get their opinions. Also I looked on expedia just to look at hotel pics and then went to trip advisor and read TONS of reviews. It was a lengthy process but worth it!!! good luck to you:)
  18. Hi and Welcome! I am also getting married Nov 2010 at Dreams Riviera Cancun. I decided on this hotel b/c they allow children and my sister will be bringing her baby. Be sure to check out their page on FB. Let me know if you have any questions:)

  20. Does anyone have pricing from the salon or spa? I have emailed the resort but no response yet.
