  3. Not just Manhattan stores, Karen (Union Sq. & 6th Ave will both close). Their sign in the front also listed a Queens one (Fresh Meadow) and I think 2 Long Island Ones.
  4. Sure! I got the $1 travel candle from Michaels. Waldbaums for the 50 cents antibacterial gel jiffyshirts.com for the totes Old Navy for the flip flops--on sale for $2.50 and then i used 2 coupon codes ($1.80) dollar tree for the puzzle/ sodoku books Filene's basement for the chapstick (they're going out of busniess in NY and everything is on sale until 3/6) All else was bought at target--in their dollar section--or their travel section.
  5. Hello! I'm wondering what the price will be for each if you're ordering in large quantitites?
  6. Hi! I got the totes from jiffyshirts.com. They have some really cute totes for cheap, and no minimum! The websote was on a thread from another BDW briode on here.
  7. Your bag is awesome!! Where did you buy the mexico keychains from? And the luggage tags? I'm trying to find nice luggage tags on the cheap and its impossible..thanks!
  8. Hello Ladies! I've been inspired by some great OOT bags on here, so I took that into account when doing me own. I'll be having a Destination Wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Apart from the items listed below, I'm also adding sudoku/puzzle book & gum to each. Below is a group picture of the items I'm including and how much each cost. BTW, my colors are fuschia, purple, and red. I'm using tote bags in purple, pink, and blue (for the single guys). Let me know what you think! -reusable purple tote--in background ($1.50 ea) -got them in purple/pink/blue -Chapstick ($0.57) -flip flops ($1.80 each) using 2 different coupons codes & a sale day -travel candle--the last picture w/yellow lid ($1 ea) -face/body wipes (1.00) -tissues ($0.25 ea) came 4/pack -banana boat spf 30 mini ($1.00 ea) -Gold bond lotion ($1.00) -shout stain remover wipes ($1.00) -antibacterial cleaner ($0.50) -tylenol ($0.33 ea) --package came 3/100 -spanish for dummies ($1.00) --only bought 4 of these for guests that need -love birds container carton to stick small items in ($1.00 ea) -puzzle book ($1.00 ea) I just really wanted to thank everyone for coming all the way to Mexico (and using up $$ for flight/hotel and vacation days) just to be part of our special day...and I thought an OOT would be a great way to do so! They are not my favors though. They are just a welcome bag. For my favors, I wanted to give something that would be fun, reusable, and have roots in Mexico since that is where we'll be. For women: handpainted maracas For men: lucha libre masks (a huge sport in mexico) and also makes for great photos! Thanks for reading! favors_oot bag.doc
  9. Hi MAry, You have beautiful pictures! Congrats on getting married and the wonderful locale! Just 2 quick questions: What is the flower the bridesmaid were holding? My color is fuschia/ hot pink and that looks like it would go wonderfully! ALso, where did you get the eraser boards that you & your guests were writing messages on? I was thinking of having a self-made photo booth area set-up and those boards would be awesome for writing notes and taking pics. Thanks, and again--Congrats! You made a beautoful bride. best, Gigi
  10. Hello! I'm also interested in a BD session, possibly in April or May. The girls that have been doing reasearch, what are the price ranges? I'm curious to see if I can actually afford it. You can email me more info (if you can) at [email protected]. I'm in NY. Thanks!
  11. Thanks, Kball! Does anyone have any suggestions as far as hotels? I'm still deciding on that one. Not sure..I heard the Mislamoya one was nice but run down and not so fancy. We were thinking about the CasaMagna Marriot or Westin? Any pros or cons? On Tripadvisor, the Marriot has has less than favorable reviews recently but the grounds seem to be nicer than the Westin? Thanks for any feedback!
  12. Hello! I am also getting married here in October 2010. Any information, suggestions, and/or pictures would be super helpful! I'm so excited! I narrowed the locations down to several like LC, Playa Fiesta, and Le Kliff--but Le Kliff won hands down and the owner Carlos has been extremely helpful and communicative with me so that sealed the deal. Mexico, here we come!
  13. Thanks so much ladies! I'm taking a look at the PV forums
  14. Hi, My Name is Nina and I'm getting married next October 2010, hopefully in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. I've been looking into various venues and my 2 top choices are Le Kliff and Playa Fiesta. I did look into Las Caletas and it looked very nice, but lacked a little extra something that I'm looking for. I'm not if I'll be needing a WC or if I can just arrange everything through email and with the venue itself. I have a few questions on recommendations for DJ's, flowers, fire dancers, and transportation. I'm hoping you gals can help me with any suggestions, recommendations, or opinions. Thank y'all so much! Nina
