From there, she said any additional guests would be the resort price ($48pp or whatever it is). Hope that helps! We opted to get rid of the cocktail hour and have our guests gather at the Barracuda Bar or Desire's lounge. The drinks are free so you might as well take advantage of that and not pay for a private cocktail hour! WE are doing the same thing.. and Ana offered us the same as well.
  3. Hey guys.. I saw some ??s about the chairs... Is our only option the white chairs- with the chair covers and sashes? Or can we get different chairs, or lounge chairs, benches, etc.....

We should meet up for a Celebratory Drink on the beach :) We will be there the 20-25th... then leaving for our honeymoon... and most of our guests will be there for that amount of time too.

We also have the quote from this song on our programs: "I got my toes in the water, ass in the sand, not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand, life is good today". It is very fitting for our personalities. My bridesmaids will walk in to the theme from Forrest Gump. It is absolutely beautiful and one of my favorite compositions ever! It is the song in the movie when the feather is falling . I will then walk into an instrumental version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis. I found a piano version on iTunes and I love it. I am not decided on the recessional song yet, we will probably stick with Signed, Sealed, Delivered. For the sand ceremony we are going to do a Dave Matthews song. We are leaning towards You and Me, but are not 100% certain. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT SONG... "I got my toes in the water, ass in the sand, not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand, life is good today". And think that is PERFECT... that is something we would love to use somewhere to, as that is our personalities as well!
  8. I am 29 and my fiance is 30... most of our guest (there is about 45 right now) are around our age 25-32.... with the exception of our parents and brother and sister... and we, too are a pretty rowdy group.... after reading about the complaints that some who have already gotten married got... I am already preparing myself that we will get some as well!
  9. Hey ladies! I want my groomsmen (and groom) to wear white button down shirts and khaki linen pants. I tried to order the khaki linen pants online (from weddingtropics.com and they are temporarily out of stock for like 2 months. The only other place I know (which I cannot remember right now - they are not as great)... any help? JCREW maybe?? thanks!!

TOTAL family resort, not geared for rowdies at all. i wouldnt have chosen a different resort but wish they had been a little nicer towards fun young people. we had about 40 people go out of their way to tell us how fun & funny we were & how they have never seen a group have so much fun & laugh so much. Thanks for the heads up... we will def. get complaints haha I noticed that you took and used paper lanterns and I REALLY want to do that. DO you have any pics that you can show me how you did it? Thanks so much
