Hi When I click on your link for the review it doesn't pull up. I'm still new to this forum-am i doing something wrong?
  2. Thanks for sharing your review! Matt and I are waiting on package details for Dreams Tulum. We can't wait!!!
  3. Hi I think Matt and I are leaning toward Dreams Tulum. What do you mean about the honeymoon suite not being what you expected? Can you share more?
  4. What a thoughtful guy! It sounds like he put a lot of planning into the night. Congrats!
  5. Can someone share Misti's email with me? I would love our names in the sand! I saw some of the pics and was sooo jealous. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of it when we got engaged on the beach!
  6. oohhh I love the vintage look of this postcard. Thanks for posting! We are deciding between this and a boarding pass.
  7. I love the color! Who did you go through to create a website? I think we are going to create one and use it for RSVPs
  8. I've read that they limit it to two weddings per day. Let me know if you find out differently!
  9. Great suggestion! I think we are leaning toward Dreams Tulum. Although I appreciate all the love for PV...we are waiting on package details for Tulum right now...Thanks!
  10. I think we are going with Dreams Tulum. We are waiting on package details but it seems like they do a great job catering to weddings.
  11. Ok you girls have kicked me into gear! I needed this!!! Now that I know I'm behind Matt and I have narrowed the resort and we are waiting on April dates. I'm hoping to get my dress this weekend and then get the STDs ordered. I'm shooting for late April!
  12. Your dress looks amazing in the picture don't regret it!!! Thanks for these tips. We are thinking about a bonfire for the rehearsal dinner...do you think it would be worthwhile if separated from the reception night?
  13. I'm still deciding on a resort but I'd like to have our wedding in April. Everyone on here is sending out STDs already! Am I too behind to pull off an April wedding I don't have the dress, resort or any details planned yet...
  14. My fiance Matt planned a trip to The Valentin Imperial Maya in August. He planned a private dinner on the beach the second night we were there. We arrived at sunset and the view was amazing! As we walked down to the beach our waitor handed me a single rose (I started to feel like I was on the bachelor!). We sat down for dinner and about 20 minutes into our meal we got up to walk along the water. That's when he surprised me and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so surprised and happy. I fell to my knees and hugged him and said yes! We are planning our wedding in either Riviera Maya or PV. Can't wait!!!
  15. Hi! I'm thinking about having my wedding at Dreams Tulum. I've read some reviews that the beach is really rocky. Can you swim in it from the resort? The beautiful beaches in riviera maya are one reason I might choose the resort!
  16. Hi! I'm thinking about having my wedding at Dreams VM next April! The pics online look amazing!!
  17. I've been looking for the same answers! I love Grand Velas but I can't ask my guests to pay $500/night. My TA suggested Azul Sensatori or Gran Melia Cancun in the Riviera Maya. I don't want my wedding in Cancun but Gran Melia is a 5 star, AAA 4 diamond resort right outside of Cancun. They are offering good group rates - around $900 pp for 4 days/3 nights + airfare. I have not seen the wedding package yet... Azul Sensatori is around $1100 pp. My fiance proposed at The Valentin Imperial Maya which was an amazing resort too! It's adult only so we can't do it for our wedding but they have a cute chapel on the resort.
  18. Thanks everyone! I really love the Dreams resorts in PV. I've narrowed it to 3!: Dreams PV Dreams Villamagna PV Gran Melia Riviera Maya
  19. Hi my name is Sarah. I'm looking forward to using this forum! My fiance Matt and I are planning to get married June 2010. We were engaged at the Valentin Imperial in the Riviera Maya and we are looking for suggestions on a resort we can get married at in the Riviera Maya. My nieces and nephew will be with us and I'm having a hard time finding an elegant ,yet family friendly, affordable-for-guests resort! It seems like Dreams Puerto Vallarta might be a good alternative if we can't find something in the Riviera Maya. Help! Sarah
