Forgot to mention that we'll have around 35 people with us and are planning on using the free wedding package as well (I don't know if that makes a difference in the amount or not, just figured I would include it!).

Great review! I love hearing positive things about this resort as it only confirms that we made the right choice by deciding to tie the knot there! I do have one question for ya though....I was told that we couldn't reserve the seaside grill for a private function unless we had a min. of 50 people. Was your reception private or were there others in the restaurant? Also did you have to pay $20 a person on top of the $750 for the meal? Thanks again for your post!! I really can't WAIT for my day!!

WOW! KJT1985 your dress is GORGEOUS!!! The beading is AMAZING! I have already purchased a dress from Davids Bridal, but seeing the fabulous results all you girlies on here have been getting I'm thinking of selling it and buying a dress through one of the sites that has been discussed! My mom will probably kill me since she's the one who paid for the first one!! It's awful but since I got my DB gown I have seen and tried on others that I like WAAAAAY better LOL! I just wish I hadn't been so quick to get a dress.....I think it was just the excitement that got to me he he he!

I'm considering ordering a dress through them as well....when you get your dress I would love love LOVE to see some pics of it!!

Hi Ladies!! My name is Brooke and I am a recent addition to the wonderful world of destination weddings! My fiance and I have been engaged almost a full year (though it doesn't feel nearly that long!) and were planning a May 2010 destination wedding in Mexico until we found out that our date wasn't available (very upsetting since we were so close to booking) . We didn't have the option to push the date back much because my younger sister is getting married in August of 2010. We decided that perhaps it was fate that the date wasn't available and decided push it back a full year. So we got confirmation of our new date yesterday! We're getting married April 2, 2011 at Dreams Tulum! Anyway I'm really excited and can't wait to get to know you girls! Brooke
