We used parasols during our wedding and they held up through the ceremony but it wasn't overly windy that day (don't get me wrong here though I did have to get my veil out of my face multiple times!!) I got them from here Save on Crafts, Wedding Supplies, Flowers, Tulle, Lights, Decorations & Discount Craft Supplies Save-on-crafts and they have colored sand for sand ceremonies too!!

I used Realistic Silk Wedding Flowers, Natural Touch and Silk Bridal Bouquets and they were amazing even fixed something for me at last minute!! I highly recommend them. People kept asking me if they could smell them!

Chris I love the photo of you guys kissing! For those of you who had guests taking photos I started a photobucket account just for the vacation & wedding photos and gave all of my guests the user name and password and had them all add in thier photos so it was easy to share them with everyone! So far they have dumped over 250+ photos in for me!!! I am super excited about how well it worked. Just and idea of all of you who are as impatient as me!

Hi Ladies-- I used a $129.00 knock off that I ordered from China for my TTD. I figured I would post the photos of it being used for you! It held up through the whole shoot and I think I am going to resell it for $75!

Hi Everyone- I got the petals through customs no problem, I had my recipts ready but never had to show them to anyone-- we got the green lights!! I got the flowers from Realistic Silk Wedding Flowers, Natural Touch and Silk Bridal Bouquets and Stephania did amazing. If you contact her let her know that Brooke sent you- she was awesome with me and making the changes that I had asked for! I got 4 boutineers, my bouquet and 3 wristlets for around $179!!! They still look as good as when I got them. I let my family and friends take photos and used the videographer from Moon Palace and they did awesome putting it together. A++

I found another funny photo So my TTD story and I will see if I can post the photos cause they are hilarious and if I can post the boudiour ones I can definalty show off these! So we are in the surf half on the water half in the sand and whoosh a huge wave hits us so fast that I go flying and rolling in the surf, it catches my dress and pulls it up to expose my thong to the entire beach and there was more than just my mom (the photographer) that was snapping off photos... anyways... she is snapping with rapid fire so you see me doing the whole rolling and everything! Its sooo funny!! I can't wait to show that one and many others off soon! In the mean time.. here are some more of mine. I can't wait to find time to see everyone elses albums! Hello Ladies!! I am back in the USA and all i can say is AAAA....MMMM...AAA....ZZZ..III...NNNN...GGG!!! My wedding was every little girls dream and Kalena was absolutly a god send! She arranged things for us that weren't suppose to be allowed, rearranged for all of our guest to be together, got everyone organized, and she was wonderful. It was a little windy that day. We did the free package and ended up upgrading our cake to a two tier (we had 48 ppl in attendance and had a ton of extra cake), the videographer--$375 (worth every single penny to have our video) and the horse and carriage ride. Everything else was taken care of with the free package. We did sign a certificate at the wedding, did a hands ceremony and a sand ceremony, wrote our entire script, the sound system played all of the music and you could hear it really well, they used a microphone for the ceremony and it worked well- you could hear us crying as we said our vows, we got the rehersal and did our cocktail hour after the rehersal, the private dinner function at arricefes (the brazilian steak house) they ended up setting it up for all 48 of us out on our own terrace outside, i had extra roses that kalena had them spread over the table for dinner and our extra programs. The contact leading up to the wedding was VERY frustrating, but once I got there it all fell into place and worked out to be magical. I HUGE reminder, no fresh flowers can be brought in or out of Mexico! Everyone kept saying mine were beautiful and some people even asked to smell them, it was funny when I let them and then said "oh they are fake!" I will be happy to answer any questions you guys have-- I am currently uploading a TON of photos onto my photo bucket account and I will give you the link soon. Hi Everyone! You have all been so busy chatting that I am pages behind. My wedding turned out to be the dream wedding that every girl dreams of. Good Morning Ladies- I am writing this while my husband sleeps next to me in bed. Today is my TTD and I can't wait! Everything was beautiful and turned out amazing (just as you all predicted it would...such smart ladies we have around here) I am working on getting my MANY MANY(Over 2000 photos) sorted out, but still trying to enjoy my vacation!! Good Morning Ladies-- I am up bright and early and even managed to get 6 hours of sleep last night! We worked out a lot of issues with the guests and today is just going to be amazing! I can feel it! That will all depend on how many days you have booked at moon palace and how they all booked in. I was fortunte to have 8 rooms booked for 7 days that qualified me (I had to fight for it) for the cocktail hour, we are doing a rehersal, 2 complimentary nights (we used one of the nights for a room for justin for tonight so we won't see each other before the wedding) and a dinner.. they are even seating it on the private outside terrace (i requested it) at arrifeces (the amazing bralizian steak house). If you used a travel agent have them get involved and have them ask the miami office to honor all of these things for you! OK off to have some fun with my guests! Talk to you all soon! Oh yeah-- Funny story! I was put into a drinking contest when we were hanging out poolside. It was bride vs bride... Brooke VS Tricia and people in our wedding parties against each other! It was pretty humourous- There are photos on my facebook of it! She is adorable, super skinny and a big sweetheart! What else would you expect? She is a feb bride after all. Erica-- I think the first feb bride to get pregnant should start off the new thread-- that will be an exciting day for us all then!

Hi Ladies-- My wedding coordinator is amazing- How ever if you have to work with anyone besides your wedding coordintor around here be prepared for a MAJOR battle. Tricia's husband has said that they won't budge on anything- I am a ROYAL bitch when I don't get what I want and I won't settle until I do. WARNING- the passport to savings pass is only given IF you do the 90 minute timeshare pitch tour- if you want it included get it in writing from your wedding coordinator or if it was promised print off what was agreed to. It was the ONLY way that we got it free, but it took me an hour and a half to prove it. They do a really great job with the free wedding and I am really happy that I choose that package instead and saved the money. I upgraded to a shell and beachy cake, got the horse and carriage and also added the videographer and my total wedding charges was $595! I brought my own petals and a bouquet from Realistic Silk Wedding Flowers, Natural Touch and Silk Bridal Bouquets (people kept asking to smell my bouquet on the plane and customs stopped me 3 times to inform me no flowers can be brought into mexico or out of mexico, but I didn't have a problem with the freeze dried roses- I didn't mention I had them and since they aren't whole flowers I didn't feel the need to tell them about them. Good Morning Ladies!!!! I am awake and pissed off to ALL hell at my groomsmen back I really didn't want them taking out Justin last night now it is 6 am and they still aren't back from downtown! So freaking mad! I have had to much drama since I arrived here--- EVERY damn couple hours there is something else that is making me mad- 1st off they brought us the the "better" side of the resort with no nice views and a 20 min walk to any of the nightly entertainment. I had them move us (thanks to my wedding coordinator), my bridesmaid arrived on wens night and Delta lost her luggage. We were seperated out from the rest of our group and we had them move us to be closer to our family. My wed coordinator got me 2 nights compted for Justin so we gave the spare room to our bridesmaid (same one who luggage got lost) she had to share our room for the first night because there was nobody else to share with-- she had the audacity to say- Oh I have to share the room? I was hoping to have my own!!!! WTF Its MY wedding and I am sharing with you so back the F off, then I ended up spending about 4 hours trying to help my bridesmaid get her luggage back and calling all over the usa and mexico. Finally I called down to the front desk and they say they have the luggage!! I am ready to kill her! Ok the good news- The hotel is beautiful, the food is good, having family and friends around is amazing. Today is a new day and I am just hoping all goes well and no drama today! Colleen- Don't expect much contact up until the wedding. I hadn't heard from her more than 6 times and then today (we leave tommorrow) we have emailed back and forth 4 times and they are bending over backwards to make arrangements and help me out!! So just relax and I'll give you guys a full review soon (If you look at my last 2 months of posts I have been freaking out and unhappy, but thats all changing and I am feeling really good and confident!) Well Ladies- Tricia sent me a text they made it to Mexico and are in a nice room at the hotel! I will post when I get back!!!
