Also, did you pick all of your readings beforehand and submit them to him months in advance or did you do that when you got on site? I was told that you can only add in things but not change them. Because i am not religious and didn't agree with thier script and its symbolic they let me submit my own, with no guarantees that it can be read very well. They may not let you change it with a legal ceremony, when you get to talk to your wedding coordinator (feel free to contact them first-- they don't follow thier own rules) thats a great thing to ask her.
  2. Timberly- How heart breaking to hear! I would be soooo upset- I am thinking that I am going to wait until after the wedding and get it engraved for the AHR. Susie- Well you almost made it through without a party! lol Krista- I am happy to hear that you aren't letting the negativity bother you- its your day enjoy it! Have a blast at your party! Tricia- I have new hair photos to send to you when I get back to WI!
  3. Raykel-- the computer crash and now the dress (btw I have a MAJOR virus right now thats hijacked my entire system- its make me think of you right away) -- I guess if your dress doesn't work out you can just go and find the one i posted above since its so classy and like shells said is has built in air conditioning! lol. I really hope that it all works out and you have awesome pics to post of it. Krista- I can't see the shoes and I want to see them! Shells- Good luck with your fitting! Susie- I am so happy for you that your brother booked
  4. I decided that my dress wasn't good enough so the new one above should be MUCH better! lol WOW My lil sis is working on doing my hair tonight.... (well for tricia actually). Have a good night!
  5. Happy Wedding Day to Teshy and Breens! Don't worry ladies I did the legal thing back in August and it doesn't make if feel real until I wear my dress and stand in Mexico and say our vows that we wrote to each other! Thanks for the Michaels Idea Trish! Ali-- I know after you see my photos you would never believe that I would feel ackward giving someone else underwear, but I would. There is just something person about underwear and I am sooooo darn picky at what I will wear and what I won't. Don't worry about the inlaws and pretend like its ok that they had plans (everything will go back to normal). Susie- I can't believe that its coming up soooo quickly for you and I am so excited to see your photos!!! Krista- That sucks that he is refusing to go to his own son's wedding. What a crap ass, but the mom has a valid point. If he doesn't want to go don't make him, he would be a downer the whole vacation!!!
  6. Noooo sleeping in mexico enjoy it and sleep when you get home.... i guess i am not in bed yet either! We tested our jar that we got for the sand ceremony and it would take 2 lbs of sand to fill...we have to return it and start over again! UGH!
  7. Thanks ladies-- I am having the book made and giving it to him before the wedding for his grooms gift. He found my wet clothes and asked me what was up! So I kind of told him what was going on, he is intrigued to say the least!
  8. Ok so I did my photo shoot today and the pics turned out good... at least I think! Warning there is no direct nudity if you check out the link... but they are very racy More Photos
  9. If I wasnt under the crunch time and had more than 39 days I would probably do the same thing, but my TA is working hard to get things accomplished for us. Shes great and has booked moon palace weddings before. I think she is getting more accomplished than I am.

Are there any bars in particular that you remember being fun to kill time before the disco opens? Did you get my package today?? Isn't your BD shoot tomorrow? I didn't see the package but with MLK day yesterday it may have been delayed a day! I got your keychains to send out to you--- took me like 10 stores to find them, but so worth it!! They may not honor the private event (even though we have 63 nights total) because we worked with a travel agent so I think we are just going to play it by ear and see what pans out over the next 2 weeks. I haven't heard from Kalena since i sent her our script, but i haven't had a bunch of questions. We didn't do much bar hopping and never even checked out the disco (only there for 48 hrs). We ordered our glow in the dark mugs this week and they should be here next week!!! Got lots of stuff in my office right now waiting for me tommorrow!!
  11. Ladies I just looked at the tickers and oh my goodness am I getting excited for all of you!!!! Its coming up sooooo fast! Tricia-- Are you stressing or are you finally hearing from our #(@)*% resort!?!?! You can guess where I am sitting with them at this point.
  12. My dad and I are going in between "Stealing Cindrella" by Chuck Wicks or "My little girl" Tim McGraw-- I just can't decide and he starts crying when either of them play so its no help there. Justin and his mom are dancing to "The Man You've Become" by Molly Pasutti but there is one called "A song for my son on his wedding day" by Mikki Viereck and that one is nice too. Our first dance is "God Blessed the Broken Road" by Rascall Flatts We are walking down the aisle to "Con Te Partiro" Andrea Bocelli I do have Etta James saved in my wedding music file, but being from WI we are all just a bunch of red neck country loving hicks I guess since most of the slow songs are from the country and the western!! lol
  13. Indy_Chic- I feel your frustration all the way-- I so wish I had picked a different resort.
  14. Krista- So sorry to hear about your grandmother, I think that them fighting is not going to do any good for her and may even stress her out more. I hope that you are able to look past it and remember that you are going to be looking into the man you loves eyes and at that very moment when you say "I do"-- it won't matter who else is there besides you two!! I love the corest back to your dress and the bead work!! Teshy-- Congrats on your legal day coming up soon! Shells- We ordered 72 pairs of sunglasses for our guests at our wedding!! Need an extra pair or 4 On a side note-- Our company is matching donations to the red cross for haiti help and even though I feel strapped for cash with the wedding, I dug into my pockets and donated. I realized that many of those people will never get an expensive wedding at a resort in Cancun, many of them will never even get running water. It felt really good to give to someone else today!
  15. You could put a fun twist on it "We all know your legs look good gentelmen, but please keep them covered on my wedding day so I won't be jealous"
  16. Shells- That is really cool that you have a friend who loves you so much that she is truely touched and excited to be a part of the day. Going through that procedure has probably given her a new outlook on life and how precious it is and you got a glimpse of how precious it is by reflecting on not having her there by your side that day. I honestly wish that we all had one of those humbling moments in life that make us appreciate who we are and what we have around us. yes I am all sappy and emotional with you right now. Susie- Thank goodness I got to read your post next because I was laughing at the image in my head of trying to say your vows over the dog!! I take you mark and the dog to be my beloveds! I cant' wait to see the photo At least you put the ring on the right finger!! Raykel- We have a salsa dancing video and we are not that coordianted at dancing together (doesn't help that I am 2 inches taller than him without the heels) We get all flustered and bang knees and step on toes, but its fun and we get to laugh about it. Hopeing in the next 37 days we can learn to salsa!
  17. Ali- Have a fun time at your Bachelorette Party- Cali should be a blast! Erica- I've been a Mrs since August 29th and Timberly got legalized in Dec. we both ran off to Vegas and Just got it over with-- its really been so amazing and calming to have it behind us (at least for Justin and I). I hope that everything goes well with the tailoring!! We all are anxiously awaiting photos!! Susie-- I hope your legal day went well! I never told you guys this before but on our legal day I was so nervous I tried to put his ring on the wrong finger! See I needed the practice run badly!
  18. Sorry no help on the photographer, mine is coming with me from WI. I have heard good things about some of the moon palace ones though David Pena does some great photos!
  19. Susie- I am glad that I have a partner in crime that doesn't sleep! Have a great legal day tommorrow!!! I'll be thinking of you! Breens- I agree with Erica! When packing your luggage put an envelope with the recipt in the front pocket of the luggage or in side in a pocket where it can easily be accessed at customs. Don't let any one carry over $300 total of items. I am making my mother in law, mother, FI and sister all carry stuff for me if need be. Raykel- I am sick for you! I have all of my photos and stuff backed up on a hard drive, but I would still be so upset and worried if it was all gone like that. Hope that they can get it fixed for you. I probably would have opened it up too though thinking that UPS would have been safe. Do you have an anti virus blocker-- can you get AVG free? Its caught a stopped a lot of virus's for me. Tricia and Shells- The guys will never actually understand all the stress and work that goes into us planning out our wedding days and dealing with coordinators and the craziness of organizing the bags. Thank goodness I found you all. I told Justin about meeting up with everyone for Krista's weddding and he was like "That will be fun, Is Timberly going with you?" I had to laugh that he even knows all of the brides names because I talk about you all like you're old friends. So here is my CRAZY wedding prep at this point: OOT bags- Ordered 72 pairs of sunglasses, 150 glow in the dark mugs (Tricia and Tony you are both getting one cause i only need 50 and will have tons extra), Pashminas, Mexico lanyards &key chains, pain killers and 5 hr energy shots. I am still working on the welcome brochure. Also ordered: Rose Petals Freeze Dried Vavoom Orange $12.00 Confetti Eco 4qt/Bag White $6.99 Colored Sand Blue Velvet 2lb $7.99 Paper Parasol 32in Chartreuse $5.69 Colored Sand Kiwi 2lbs $7.99 Shells Indian Small Mix Now this week I need to get my boudior shoot done, we moved it up to wens and bring in our sand ceremony items things remembered to get them engraved (I am engraving the pourers with a B & J and then writing our names, date and location on the other) maybe get Justin's ring engraved. My final dress fitting is on Jan 27th and we are doing a hair, makeup and jewelry run through then. I feel like I am missing something ladies. Can you think of anything? How are you ladies whos days are coming up here really quickly holding up??
  20. janelley100-- Vent away!! That what we are all here for is to help each other out. I would say BAIL!! If she isn't helpful now don't expect her to be later! Did you sign the contract with Moon Palace directly or did she take care of it? Do you have a copy of the signed contract?

LOL Nah don't wear that one!! Wear the one with all of the rips and tears that looks like a catwoman! lol In all honesty it is beautiful and yea for working out and seeing the results. You look stunning. I have to agree that I think with the flash and the sparkles that the jewelry is really pretty!
  22. I am switching out now and/or doing doubles of P90X followed by Biggest Loser Workouts or 30day shred! Its a little over a month now until the wedding so I am goign to work hard! I love the arms and shoulders P90X and then either the cardio or the bootcamp with Bob!

Plus with our wedding coming up in 5 weeks I wanted him to have nice shiny teeth but he doesn't give a f*ck. You should have seen how grumpy he was this morning when I reminded him of his appt. and of course I get the brunt of it always. He is a big friggin child who throws a tantrum when he has to do something he doesn't want to do... or better yet! he just doesn't do it. How mature. Today is my dress fitting and I am so angry at him I don't even want to go. I am just so angry because I just can't count on him for anything sometimes. Adding kids to the mix will be disaster. Go to your dress fitting and get us pics so I can get that image of that hideious one that you threatened to wear out of my head! lol Its probably the stress of the wedding starting to wear on you both. Whenever I get frustrated with Justin always working, I stop and remind myself that if he didn't have a job- then we wouldn't be getting married in Mex ico and planning on having kids sometime soon. Put a positive spin on it and you'll feel better!!
