Is everyone doing a private function? We were just thinking about bar hopping around the resort and near the afternoon buffets (noon wedding) since it has awesome shishkabobs and variety meals there and then we don't have the extra costs. I was just seeing what others are doing-- its what the bride who got married there last year did and it seemed to work out well. -

This dress is very pretty and its your wedding so wear what you want to be seen in and what makes you feel good. I am going very formal and having the train bundled the whole time!

Thank you Tina-- I did see those photos, but its on the terrace my dream is to get married with my feet in the sand so hoping to find more photos some where. I am sure your wedding will be amazing and I will be looking forward to seeing photos!

Can anyone please tell me if they find a rate for below $466 per couple in a room and how you got them to negotiate the better rate. I would really appreciate it!!

Hi Jodimichelle- I was there for a wedding and the bride choose Nizuc side because she thought it was the prettier one of the two and its the side with all the gazebos for the weddings on it. The resorts it quite big but not so big that it really matters what side you stay on you'll get to see and play on both. We are looking forward to going to the bar with the swings on the Sunrise side this time! Hope your planning is going well!!

Sometimes sitting down and asking your friends and family where they would really like to go can help you out (or confuse you more) I would say select 3 locations and check things like airfare costs, hotel costs and if its not going to be all inclusive expenses for food and drinks and things. It narrowed mine down from our choices of Punta Cana, Bahamas, Cozumel and Cancun to Cancun for more afforablility! Good luck and no matter what it will be amazing because you are doing what YOU want to do in the end!

Hi Everyone- I have spent all of yesterday searching through this thread hoping to find somone who has done the beach Wedding at the Moon Palace. I am signed up and confirmed to be doing my wedding at Noon on February 27th. I've actually been to the resort before for a wedding last year around the same time so I can answer questions for people to about the resort-- but if anyone has photos or a link from a beach wedding there I would greatly appreciate it! Hi Everyone! I am Brooke and I am doing a beach wedding at the Moon Palace in Cancun Mexico where I am marrying a guy who I got back together with after being apart for 7 years! Yesterday I spent HOURS reading through the Moon Palace Forum-- I wish it had areas to sepearate out different topics in there with the 250+ pages of info its so overwhemling but exciting at the same time. Our Wedding is Febuaray 27th 2010 at Noon and we couldn't be more excited! Talk to you all soon! Brooke
