  1. I'm having mine at the Ritz in March next year! I went with them because of many factors... but the top two are AMAZING customer service, and a gorgeous setting that is private and romantic! When we were there, they made it very clear that my wedding would be *my* event, not impeded by other guests at the hotel. I hope you choose them too!
  2. Hi, I'm going to have my wedding here March next year. I've been REALLY pleased with their customer service so far, and I was blown away by the grounds when I was there earlier this year. I'm really looking forward to it, and I'm sure they will meet my every requirement and expectation!
  3. lots of planning : to-do lists
  4. Excellent job! I'm still brainstorming ideas for mine, and I got lots of good ones from you! Thanks for sharing!
  5. How beautiful! I hadn't even thought about getting faux flowers... that's such a great idea!
  6. Congratulations! You must be a fun couple since you're having your wedding in Vegas! WOOHOO!
  7. Thanks everyone! The love around here is so thick I could cut it with a knife!
  8. A really incredible cliff setting is Lava Point at the Ritz-Carlton in Kapalua (which is on Maui)! We are having our wedding there, but we've got too many people so our ceremony will be on a lovely grassy knoll just above the Point. Check out their pictures on their website: Maui Wedding Planners: The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua Weddings. It would work perfectly for your very intimate wedding as well, as they limit the amount of people on the cliff to 8 (I think). The Ritz is expensive, but in our experience with them thus far, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! The service there simply knocked our socks off, and everything about the resort is peaceful, romantic, and simply stunning. Since cost is a concern, if you didn't want to stay at the hotel (which is having ridiculous deals now that travel is down so much because of the economy), there are much less expensive hotels very close by that you could stay at while still having your ceremony at Lava Point. One in particular that we will probably have our guests at is the Mauian. http://www.mauian.com/accomm.htm Good luck, and happy searching!
  9. Hello fellow brides- and grooms-to-be! My name is Lisa and my fiance's name is Ben. We live in sunny California and are looking forward to getting hitched on March 14th, 2010 in Maui! Hence the "getting Maui'd" line in the title. We chose this date as it will be our 7 year anniversary! We're having the ceremony and reception at the lovely Ritz-Carlton in Kapalua. I look forward to joining this community!
