Congrats Natasha Wow i thought I was up that's great. I am finishing packing tonite. We leave out tomm morning. Remeber I won't be weighing in next week as I will be fresh from my wedding day. We have a lobster lunch planned for that day in Antigua so no weighing anything for me hahaha. TTFN!!!! I'll miss you all.

Hey ladies I'm running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I had a very laid back morning with my hair appt. But after that I've been running like crazy. We leave at 8 in the morning and I'm so excited but busy as well. Also I have alotta singles going so we're doing the garter/bouquet toss. I've always enjoyed it and never looked at it as a negative aspect of a reception.... Ok Ladies TTFN!!!!!!!!! TTYL (when i return)!!!!!!!!!!

I'm up but I'm blaming it on the 8+ drink that I had at my bach party last nite lol.

Hey guys I am taking my gown in a wedding gown bag that i got off of ebay. It is also wrapped in 2 plastic bags inside the garment bag. OMG I had the bachelorette party of the year last night. Jennifer (since I know you live in Balto). I was surprised into a limo ride to this hole in the wall club call the 2 o'clock club. It was Tuesday night male stripper night (my 1st stripper show). OMG we had so much fun. My FI paid for the limo and my mom organized everything. I was like VIP at the club. There were friends and family members with me. And we had the time of our lives. I had at least 8 drinks. I couldn't even walk at one point lol. The best fun I've ever had. Got my nails and toes done today and I get my hair done tomm and we leave Friday morning YAY!!!!!

Thanks Finleys Melissa I'm glad u arrived safely. And its good to hear that the place is more beautiful than expected. Today is Vikki's wedding right? Congrats Vikk!!!! Just to let you all know I won't be able to get on BDW after Friday. I can use the comp in the hotel but it cost way too much to use internet on the ship. Can I jut say that I am so laid back today. Suprisingly enuf most things are going as planned. And my overorganizing has paid off. I'm just ab done packing. All I have left is hair mani pedi take Cuji to boarding and get on the plane yay!!! (have you all had ur eyebrows threaded? My gma loves it but says it hurt I may get that instead of waxing this time also I may try fake eyelashes lol). We leave Fri morning but my last day at work is Wed. Oh also FI finally got his ring but now wants a different one so we'll be at Jared one day this week trying to change out his ring. That ab it thou.

I had applied for a job as a swim instructor for kids with disabilities. I never taught swimming before but had many classes as a child and i would have been taught what to do. But when it came time for my interview I chickened out. This was bc I looked at the website and all the instructors were thin hahaha and I wasn't interested in washing all of this hair like every other day (I have long locs). The kept asking me to just come in and see if I was interested. but since I'm so outta shape i didnt thing it was the best idea. NS Bride It's Natasha right? I am so ready to go. I'm on my way out to finish up some shopping now.

I shopped all day and my feet were hurting when i got home so I think that was enuf exercise for me.... I so suck i had my 2nd final fitting today and finally brought my dress home. I then turn around have a cheese steak for dinner. Thank God for my all in one.

Wow Melissa I didn't realized you were driving from Detroit to FL. That's great I hope you're having fun. Well I have good news I have my gown YAY!!! They were literally working on it when I walked in the door but it is perfect. I did alotta shopping today for last minute items. Since we are working all week (well Wed is my last day but thurs is fi's last day and we leave on fri) we had to get alot done this weekend. We paid our final balance off just now that's an awesome feeling. I got a huge duffel bag for the OOT bags I hope it work. OK going to go do some packing TTFN.

Ok ladies I have the wonderful tasks of finding a piece of luggage to carrying our OOT bags down in. This seems very easy buts it's not bc not bag we ever find is big enuf. This is such a hassle. I also have my 2nd final fitting today and i have to go deliver tshirts. And I have to go find me one more piece of lingerie and 2 more bras. So exciting right.

OMG Ladies so exciting. We thought we were down to owing our WC about $6500. Turns out when she sent us our final invoice last night we only owe her ab $4100. Freaking awesome. We have over an additional $2000 spending $$$ (we already had our spending $$ put to the side over now we have waaay more to add to the pot). So exciting.

I've been having nightmares/anxiety attacks/just can't sleep issues for the past few nights as well. I plan to take a nytol tonight and wish for the best.

My fi informed me last night as well that he's having a bach party. We're like bff so I'm like ok have fun for me and use protection hahaha. He was almost offended that I 'd think he'd sleep with someone. I was j/k but he almost didn't wanna go. I'm just like since none of your friends are going on the trip you all deserve this. My will be going out with my girls in Puerto Rico but I need to curl my hair up for the wedding so I won't being staying out very late. So my OMG moment of the day. I went for my final fitting and dress retrieval today. My gown was a mess. The hem was horrible, beads were off the back of the gown and my bra still showed. So they will be very busy tonight. The manager repinned (after the idiot seamstress had already repinned it but it looked a sloppy mess) my hem to be sown over again and they will be sowing in my bra so that it won't show. The bad part is I planned on wearing that $67 strapless bra over the course of the trip and now I won't be able to... I need to purchase another strapless bra but i hafta find something cheaper. I will go to pick it up tomm. I hope its fine. We leave on next fri so we have some time to play with but still... I can't believe that the beads were still off the gown. (honestly I knocked them off when i was sneaking and trying on my gown at home) but I told them they were off at my first fitting and they still didn't put them on 3 fittings later. Oh did I tell you all at my last fitting the seamstress broke my zipper so she cut it out my dress to get me out of it... I was horrified but that part looked perfect today haha.

I gained. But i had a good walk with my dog 2x this week. Today we did 6 laps. (that may not seem like alot but for lazy me that a helluva lot lol). We're been eating pretty good to. Making alotta meals at home. I've been eating lunch meat sandwiches too. We leave pretty soon so we're trying to eat up all the perishable food in the house.

Jess do you still need a welcome letter. I can forward you mine if you'd like. Have fun Melissa and focus on relaxing not BDW hahaha. J/K you know we wanna now everything.

Ericka I'm getting ready to go read your thread... Melissa Congrats. I wanna go today :-( Please pack me in your suitcase lol. JGamma- Your pic is awesome your soon to be hubby is gonna love the BD Book. I'm gonna do a spa day on the ship either with my fi or my bridal party or my sorority sisters. I want fi to get a pedicure before the wedding. He may do it on the ship if they do it in a private room lol. But I'll be getting my nails done at home. I had my Bridal Shower at work today. We got alot of stuff (mainly $$) and had alotta fun. We have been having issues in our program with a lack of team support so it felt good that the entire team came out for my shower.

Mellisa looks like you had fun to me.... But I did see alotta kissing hahaha j/k...

Ok ladies you all will be so happy to know that I just finished taking pics for my planning thread. I'm actually at 2 weeks today. But I'm going to hold off until thurs nite. I want to get pics of the gm gifts that arrive tomm and my final fitting is Thurs and I want you all to see me in my gown (the model on the website is too thin and doesn't do the gown justice. They need someone curvy like me to show you what the gown is really supposed to look like hahha) j/k. OMG I had the worst nite last nite and I didn't sleep a wink. All I could think ab was the wedding and I didn't even go to sleep til my fi left out this morning. Then one of my foster parents called my cell at 8:15. Which is so annoying they know we don't start work til 9 (which means I wake up at 8:45) yet they call early for some reason and then in the message say "I know you don't start work til 9 but..... " So freaking annoying. So anyway I've been dead tired all day. I had to take one of my clients to the hospital bc she's addicted to pain meds and she needed a fix (now clearly she covered that all up but... She starts counseling on thurs so.... I'm so horrible I've been working with this young lady for 3 years and the fact that she is addicted to pain meds really pisses me off, bc she's such great girl and has so much potential ) and I was horrified bc I really don't wanna die from H1N1 before my wedding. I sat there in a mask for hours, omg the ppl in there were so sick that now i think my tummy hurts lol.... Ok I'm going to take a long hot bath and then i'm getting in the bed early. My Wedding Shower at work is tomm. So exciting. But first I have to look at Melissa pictures lol.

How does one get on the 7 day calendar?

This isn't a wower either but we a having a full island tour after the wedding with an awesome tour guide (Sunny Liston) he incorporates singing and just alotta fun in his tour. We also are doing the ribbon wands (OK so I stole this idea from another BDWer... but it is so cute) that everyone will shake as we jump the broom and walk up the aisle. Another thing that we're doing is a West Africa tasting ceremony where we taste 4 elements lemon, vinegar, cayenne pepper, and honey which represent the sour, the bitter, the hot, and the sweet times of marriage. Another element my pastor added to it is that my FI feeds me the elements after he 1st tastes them representing trust and the idea that he would never give me anything that would hurt me. I've never seen this done before but it think it'll be very beautiful. Lastly one of my Sorority Sisters is a spoken word artist. So she's writing a piece for us and is saying it at the the wedding. I hope this helps.

Aww Vikki I hope you feel better. Just think in a few days you'll be sipping a Mai Tai on the beach in Ocho Rios... Also Did I tell you when we were in Ocho Rios last year we went ATVing with/thru Chukka Cove. OMG that was the best experience ever. Maybe you guys could book this trip before the wedding. So you can get some of the stress out. It was so beautiful. One of the best excursions I've ever been on. Here's a link to their site but we actually booked it thru Carnival cruises...
