I am getting married on June 26, 2009 at 4:30pm and I am pretty sure that if you get married on the beach the breeze of the water will cool everyone down. I am not worried at all. If you notice in a lot of the pictures of brides and grooms getting married on the beach...their hair is CRAZY blowing. I think you are safe! What date did you pick?

The strap is in the middle of the bag not on the ends. I guess they would be okay if they are used as welcome bags and not intended for beach use at all. -Shann

okay so I got those 69C OOT bags off that site that was posted on here. They are a lot smaller then they look in the pictures on the website. We ordered 50 of them and now they are all the wrong size. I'm not happy!!!!

Well....on Dec 23rd it will be one year since Jeff and I have been engaged. We have been together since Sept 2001 and I was READY! I was waiting FOREVER but to say the least...I was def surpised!!! Jeff and I live in an apartment in Phila, pa . We decorated the tree and put all our wrapped presents under the tree. On the morning of Dec 23rd we woke up and watched a football game. I was so stressed with other things that needed to be done before Xmas that I did not pay attention to anything Jeff was saying. He had the tree lit and kept saying...doesn't the tree look so nice. This was at 11am. We went to breakfast where his family thought he already proposed but they all kept their mouths shut as I did not find the ring yet. We came home and we were watching more TV when I realized there was a present on the top of the Christmas tree. It was my ring. Jeff got the box off the top of the tree and got down to ask me to Marry him. I was nervous I said yah...yea..YES!!!! Best day of my life

Beachbride, I do not know what OOT stands for either. I just ordered the bags though. 69cents each! We are going to have them embroidered with our detonation on them. We will put in them cameras, sun screen, aloe and maybe a few snacks for when guests are in their rooms. Nothing too much but something. Also, we are including a thank you letter too. My travel agent just got back...I asked her how it was and this is what she said: ---------- HI, Mexico was great! I really like the AZUL. I hate tripadvisor…basically …you need to stop reading it until March. The place needs to work through the kinks and get the staff accustomed to the environment. But, the facility is amazing. Everything glimmers of new. I know the rooms are very contemporary so sometimes, people just don't like that. I put a picture of the lobby in there so you can see how modern looking it is. If that is your taste, then you will love it. The food is amazing…so I haven't a clue why people complained about that. Karisma was voted by conde naste as the best food in Mexico and by Wine Magazine. I need to put you on a 12 step program. Don't read tripadvisor until March and take things with a grain of salt. Go through and read about other hotels in the Riviera Maya and see that no one gets perfect ratings…even the ones that have been in operation for years and rated 5 stars. Sometimes the weather is bad, people's flights are delayed, the rooms aren't ready when they arrive because check in isn't until 3pm and sometimes people are fighting with their spouses and that effects their review. IT is insane!! I can tell you this, I do think the Azul needs more umbrella's outside. I think the restaurants need to all be opened each night during busy season because I think when they are full, they don't have enough space when 1 is closed at night, I think the design has flaws in the bathrooms that are being refitted now and I think the staff needs to get with the program as to room upgrades, and handling guests--all of these things can be fixed in a few months. JHarwood2Be I am so sorry you had to go through all of that. I really feel bad about it. Did you have photos taken by a photographer down their? How was that? Did you feel confident after your first day of meeting with the WC that everything would be okay? I am seriously freaking out now. Again...I am so sorry! -Shannon

Jiffer...I agree with you, however, most guests have booked already and it's too late to have them rebook somewhere else so hopefully they will not see the reviews I am sure everything will be fine very soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My travel agent is there now and will let me know how she made out and send me pics so as soon as I have them I will post them.
