OMG Taratoons!!! that's insane!!! I wish you all the best & hope things work out ok! A change doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing - I know a couple of the girls who's weddings got cancelled last year bc of the piggy flu & ended up having amazing weddings that they said they wouldn't change for anything!! The free luggage is the gift...or you can take a $200 gift card that is good for about a gazillion stores! Personally we didn't find out about the free stuff until a few weeks before we left, so we probably wouldn't have gotten the luggage in time if we wanted it. Since when is RIU MB sunwing?? Plenty of booze!!! Just kidding! You will be fine! Like jerseykitten said, picking the resort is the hardest part! The rest is easy!! Just do what makes you & FI happy, don't worry about pleasing everyone! And plan within your means...nothing is more stressful than financial worries!

Thanks ladies! It is pretty pricey, so I dont' think it's something I'm going to keep up with anyway...but it was definitely nice to try it! I think I'm going to try & convince DH to go with me next time!

Ang - we didn't get the free sunquest stuff until about a month before the wedding & had no idea we were even getting it! So they may still have that promotion on! Marie - we had free passes as well, but ours was every 21st. So...20 people book & the 21st to book was free. Then 20 more people book (so 41 total) and the 42nd person to book was free. I think in your case, you will be missing the trip by 2 people...but yes, definitely sucks! But at least you guys won't have to pay the full amount for both of you!

So...I survived hot yoga!!! HOLY FACK!!! Why didn't someone tell me I was going to feel like death!!!?? I barely made it out of there with my stomach contents in tact. Crap! It was so hard!! I can't even say I felt great afterwards though...it seriously did something funky with my stomach. But - I will not be discouraged! I paid for a 2 week pass & plan to use it at least a couple more times! But seriously, how the fack do you start to drip sweat halfway through the FIRST breathing exercise!!? LOL Crazy - I could have rung (ringed, rang...lol) sweat out of my tank top by the end of it...gross!

We don't regularly do doggie daycare...but we do board Killick when we go on vacation. He loves it! It's like a little vacation for him too!!!

Josie - I love Tux to pieces!! He's so cute!! Di - great Cesar trick with the back pack!! How is it working? I think Killick would just try to get the back pack off & eat it! lol

I suck - I am up 2 lbs! blah.... Oh well...it's another week & hopefully I can get off my ass this time (not like last week!) All you ladies are doing so great! Keep pushing for that plateau breaker Tash! You can do it!!!!

OMG Erin - Izzy sounds just like Killick! The only thing that we've been able to get that lasts at all as far as toys go is antlers - Jess's Moose sent it to Killick for Christmas this year & he LOVES it!! (Yes, we did a doggie gift exchange LOL) She gets the antler from a market in Chicago - you could have a look at your local markets for them I would think. Anyway - it's a godsend! It's the only toy we've been able to just leave out for him to play with all the time, well, except for his extreme kong that he keeps outside (although, there are chunks gone out of that "indestructible" toy!) Eeek - I hate the cutting of the toenails! It always freaks me out!! Dh takes care of that chore, so far no problems though! And I love how they always have to sleep with their heads on pillows! We bought Killick a bed to sleep on, but he just uses it as a pillow most of the time. Doggies are so funny!

Thanks! We have been back for nearly a month now though! lol But we did have an amazing time - and yes, we were safe as we always are when travelling. Thanks katrina! It does help to know I'm not the only one (although, I guess I kind of knew I wasn't the only one! ) We have accumulated some debt over the years - so our focus now is to pay that off, then hopefully we can get working on baby making!!!

DH and I aren't TTC yet, but I have a question for all you ladies that are, or have! Does everyone feel like they are financially comfortable having a baby?? I am starting to think more & more about TTC, but I don't know if we can afford it! And I don't know if we ever will be able to. DH and I make decent $, but we also have pretty decent things, and go on vacations, etc. I'm just wondering how you all do it financially. I know we will have to make sacrifices when we have a baby, but I still don't know if we would be able to get by. I'm so stressed out about all of this...am I the only one!!

I think it's a great idea - and like some people said, you can register for the store...not the actual items. So you don't even have to pick out the furniture before hand. You can go after the wedding & pick out what you like, with the consideration of how much money you have to work with. Keep in mind - you will probably piss some people off...some people like giving an actual gift. But hey - they can bite it! lol It's your wedding & you can do as you wish!!

I did "regular printer labels" with a nice font for my STDs and my invitations. It's all a personal preference. I don't know how many people would actually look at the envelope & say "gee...she didn't even handwrite these" - that just seems silly to me! lol
