  1. I'll be praying for you! Please keep us posted!
  2. I debated on this very thing with my mom. She thinks I should pay for bridesmaids and FI should pay for groomsmen. Yeah, I can't afford that. I also told my wedding party that I did not want to put them in a financial bind but I would love to have them there if they were financially able to be there. Everyone is fine with paying their own way, at least we gave them enough notice to start saving.
  3. Well I was WAY too sore yesterday to work out, but today I'm gonna suck it up and run a few miles.
  4. Well I guess even if we have unfaithful gym partners, this thread will help a litttle!
  5. I woke up at 430this morning to be at the gym by 5:30. I was supposed to meet a friend there, and she was no where to be found this morning! I am so tired, just chugged a large cup a coffee and not feeling anything! It's going to be a LONG 10 hour day!
  6. I went and bought my first bra post surgery and it looks like I really am a 36 C. I heard from a friend that if you have breast augmentation, you shouldnt wear wired bras... is that true? Has anyone heard about this?
  7. After surgery i might be a small c full 36B! I am so disappointed because I'm 5'9with a wide chest cavity (so my doctor says). I think that if I had something to start off with, 390 would have been good. I just wasnt blessed in my genes for having boobs. Good thing there are docs who can fix that haha!
  8. Well I got 390cc which is nothing because I wasn't even an A!!! My mom came to visit me last week and I kept bugging her about how I shouldn't of listened to her. I think after the wedding I'll go a little bigger. I dont want to look like Pamela Anderson, but I think a little bigger wouldn't be that bad. The thing is I got sillicone which i like, but they aren't refillable so it looks like i'll be going under the knife again next summer!
  9. Oh, I started at the gym at 4 weeks just doing the bike. I was getting bored at home and had to workout.
  10. I can't believe I'm actually posting this, but I also had surgery in July (I wish I would have not listened to my mom and gone a little bigger!) Anyway, I was in pain for only the first few days, 4 max. I slept upright for MAYBE a week and a half. After thank, I had to be very careful about how I moved, but I was pretty much functional and pain free by the second week. The first few days are rough though, but just remember it's worth it. Make sure that you have someone to help you sit up if you need help, don't try to do it yourself! My big thing is... take your antibiotics. My doctor put me on 7 days which was not enough, I had to go to another doctor and get back on the meds for another 10 days. I promise you are almost home-free from the majority of the pain! I dont know if you're big into working out, but I love to run. I waited 6 weeks before I tried to run and it was pretty odd at first. I think what really helped was my sports bra. I bought an UnderArmor sportsbra which is AMAZING and I highly recommend it! If you need to know anything else, you can PM me, I'll be happy to help in any way!
  11. I was just wondering what you guys were planning for the ceremony as far as music? I have no idea what to do! HELP!
  12. I know! I heard of some people having scheduled their weddings for the Galveston area and those venues were ruined by Ike! All these reports hit home when you're also planning a wedding because you just never know!

Congrats on the engagement! This forum is awesome! You'll love all the great information you can get here!
  14. So I was listening to the radio yesterday and they announced that 3 big wedding venues are filing for bankruptcy. Brides were calling in saying they were going to be getting married this weekend, next weekend, a few months from now. Some paid 10k, and one had paid in full with 20k!!!! These pieces of scum locked the doors and disconnected their phones and are not letting their brides know that they are out of business yet are walking out with their money. I was outraged when I heard this and my heart broke for these brides as I am also planning a wedding. Then I started to think, what if it happens to me? What if someone screws me out of my money and my dream wedding? I guess with our economy being the way it is, we need to be careful and mindful of who we give our money to and how much we give them. Be praying for these ladies who's dreams were stripped from them! Cindy
  15. Congrats Edna! How's the rest of the planning going?
  16. I also just spoke with my WC and told him the prices that I found and he said that he can probably find someone to do it even cheaper. I will keep you updated when I hear back from him. Cindy
  17. My WC also recommended him, so I'd also like to know if someone has used him before...
  18. Their phone number is 011-52-322-222-0300
  19. Ok so here's the deal. I spoke with Marcial who spoke to his manager and these are the prices that I got. For 100 cigars (100% Mexican) 2 hour minimum $3800 pesos 50 cigars (25: 50% cuban/50% mexican; 25 100% Mexican) $2330 pesos 2 hour minimum. if you want an extra hour, an extra $500 pesos per hour. To reserve, 50% before the wedding and 50% after. I dont know if they spoke English, but you could get your wedding coordinator to translate. I can help if anyone needs translating.
  20. Mary those suggestions are great! I'm hoping to make a trip out there soon and will definitely try your suggestions!
