I'm thinking that's what the sales guy was referring to.

What a relief! I haven't picked a date yet, but we are almost there. I'm just waiting for my TA to get back to me. I have a couple of random questions: 1. Does anyone have the menu choices? I could be wrong but the menu choices might depend on what package you pick. When we upgraded our package to Luxury from Classic, the food options changed. 2. Do the guests get a choice of entrees or do we have to pick only one that everyone will have? You pick one option for all the guests. The only flexibility is if you have any vegetarian guests. 3. Did anyone use the live music for the cermony? If so, did you have you have a choice of songs? Were you able to request a song? The Luxury Package comes with live music for the ceremony, but by the time we upgraded I had already printed our Programs with our music on it. We decided to have the live music (a guitarist) during the seating of the guests. Our Ipod was used for the processional and recessional. SDbeachgirl, hope this helps!

We went with Van Morrison's "Into the Mystic", Travis' "Closer" and Joshua Radin's "Today". -

We booked Ivan Gomez from DJ Doremixx. I can pass along his email address if you're interested. We didn't pay for a day pass for him and didn't pay for his dinner either. It was cheaper booking directly with Ivan than booking him through the resort. I thought they would charge me a day pass, even though he's a preferred vendor, but they didn't.

Hey GatorKris, can I ask who you're trying to contact? Maybe I can provide some names/numbers/emails. I just got married at the Royal one month ago and found they were very prompt with my inquiries/requests. If you have any other questions, I'd be more than happy to help. Best of luck with your planning!

Quote: Originally Posted by traceyfranzel Where did you get the maracas? And why did you have to keep receipts for customs? Hi traceyfranzel, we bought the maracas on 5th ave. There were numerous shops selling different colours and sizes along the strip. The further away from the resort we walked, the cheaper they got. We kept receipts for the items we brought to Mexico 'cause Customs can ask you how much the items cost and may want proof. You're given an allowance of $300 USD each and may be charge fees if they deem you go over the amount.

Thanks again! Obviously as you can see we all LOVED your wedding! The prices for the maracas varied along 5th Ave but what I noticed was that the more you walked away from the resort, the cheaper they were. The ones we bought were $1.50 USD for 2 Thanks again for the lovely compliments. If there's anything else, please let me know!
