  1. Congrats Cindy! Not currently expecting but I am the mama to a beautiful 17 month old girl.
  2. I think Amy's username is Amaryllis .
  3. Has anyone heard from Amy? She was due last spring I believe. Yooohoooo are you out there Amy?! Here is my daughter Penelope who is already 14 months old!
  4. I heart Gavin! He's such a little man!
  5. They are adorable boys Kayte!!! Congratulations!
  6. I loved having this: http://www.amazon.com/Belly-Book-Nine-Month-Journal-Growing/dp/0307336182/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1293507338&sr=8-1
  7. Good luck to you Cindy. I hope you are on the way to a BFP!
  8. You should check into using a local planner if you are doing a shoreside wedding. TWE is known to be more expensive. I'm not sure how TWE is doing with communication these days. I have heard they are great at communicating until you sign a contract and then hard to get a hold of. Things could be different now, not sure.
  9. I remember when I discovered Weeds I blew through the seasons too! It's such a great show!
  10. Congrats! I was a cruise bride and know there are threads out there with tips and suggestions. Search it up!
  11. I was on the Triumph for a wedding cruise and it was wonderful! We had such a blast. That being said I would totally do a 7 day cruise. You will want 2 more days because it's so much fun!
  12. I thought the location was okay. The people there are so wonderful I keep going back to that. It down poured on our wedding day so I didn't get to see it with the beautiful blue sky and blue ocean background. It was all gray and wet for us. The staff were all truly amazing! They did everything they could to make it better and special for us. The taxi ride was maybe 10 minutes? Depends on traffic. We were married in the 1 p.m. hour and I did feel rushed to get back to the ship by 3:30-4:00. I would recommend scheduling the ceremony earlier then 1 p.m.
  13. We were married on the beach but at Shaw Park Beach Resort which is different from the park. That's why I asked . Make sure when you get the taxi off the ship to specify which one you want. We specified the resort and he still thought we were going to the park which is a ways away. Have a great cruise and wedding!!
  14. Are you getting married in Shaw Park or at Shaw Park Beach Hotel?
  15. We are DVRing it to watch later because football is on. I can't wait to see it! Â Jealous of the pizza and soda Abs!!! YUMMMM!!!!
  16. I feel Royal Caribbean is a step up from Carnival. I have sailed twice on Carnival and once on Royal Caribbean. On Royal the food, customer service, ship, and entertainment were all superior. After sailing Royal Caribbean we agreed we wouldn't go back to Carnival.
  17. You are 30 weeks already?! Wow, time has gone by quickly! Do you have a name picked out? Â Penelope is doing well and a complete joy! She unfortunately has had multiple ear infections and is getting tubes next week. Hoping that is the start of a healthy life for her!
  18. I love love cruises! I've been on Carnival twice and Royal Caribbean once (for our wedding). I enjoyed Royal Caribbean the best and felt the activities, ship, and food were a step ahead of Carnival. I would decide which islands you would like to see and go from there. For example, our next cruise will be to the Southern Caribbean so we will most likely need to depart from Puerto Rico. If you want to leave from a certain port that will limit your island options. Have fun planning!
  19. You could find a photographer looking to build their portfolio. They may do it for the cost of the trip alone.
  20. How exciting! Happy almost wedding day!! Â I did my wedding in port during the cruise. I think either way there will be stress. Embarkation day weddings are really rushed. In port weddings come with lots of stress regarding the ship making it to port, being on time, etc. Â Oh my, I really need to start planning another cruise! They are so much fun!
  21. It's not like the cruise line can set limits on how many pictures your guests take. Do you know if they have a strict policy about photographers other then their own?
  22. I don't because we used the photographer hired by the little hotel we were married at. I highly recommend bringing your own photographer. It's my biggest regret! I would have skimped on other things just to have the money to make it work. I've seen cruise ship photographer pictures on another website and IMHO they don't even come close to being as amazing as what you see from the BDW photographers. Probably because they are so limited in what they can shoot.
  23. Not sure if people would be interested in cruise reviews? Oh my goodness does that resort look amazing!
  24. Yeah there are a few of us around here still! I think Heather mentioned that she heard Artie wasn't well but I could be remembering wrong. I still love the show but it was even better with Artie. If they do renew their contracts I hope they fill his seat if he isn't able to come back.
