  1. Hi, I am wondering if anyone had their wedding ceremony in Miami or Ft Lauderdale prior to boarding the cruise? I am leaving from Ft Lauderdale. I've looked at getting married on one of the Carribean islands however they are very pricey. This may be a better alternative cost wise. Would love to hear from you. Thanks
  2. Hi Nonnie, Thanks for your message. I was looking at Sonesta Resort as well. They have provided me their wedding planners. I have been in touch with Marry Me and Ultimate weddings. Marry Me wants a 25% fee and Ultimate weddings want 35%. Which is very pricey and ridiculous. I am now considering having the ceremony in Ft Lauderdale (before boarding the cruise ship) as it is much more cost efficient. Good luck with your wedding and I will let you know what we decide.
  3. Hi, I am planning a wedding in St Maarten. Has anyone planned a wedding there? I would love to hear from you. Thanks
  4. Hi, I have booked with Celebrity cruise and would like to plan a wedding in St Maarten. Does anyone have any reputable wedding planners out there? Please drop me a note. Thanks
  5. Thank you very much for the suggestions! I will definetly check it out. I went on the Marche Bacchus website and the restaurant looks lovely! The prices seem very reasonable in comparison to the cost per person at a hotel. Do you know much a cab ride might be to this restaurant from the strip? Thanks again!
  6. Has anyone used a cruise photographer for your wedding photos? If so, were you happy with the results? I would like some artistic/editorial photos for my wedding however most cruise line's policy does not allow you to bring your own photographer. I would love to hear you feedback. Tks
  7. Hi, I am considering getting married in Vegas however I don't really want to do it at a chapel or on the strip. Ideally, I would like to have the ceremony and then lunch/brunch or maybe dinner at a restaurant instead. Something pretty informal. I definetely don't want a dinner reception because I don't want the production of a wedding (i.e. speeches, dance, etc). Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to do something unique and yet casual. Thanks for your help!
