  1. An hour of body pump last night, and an hour of spin this morning.
  2. Tuesday is usually my day off too! Tonight I'm doing a half hour run and free weights. I'm going to Panama in 3 weeks so I got work those abs!
  3. An hour of spin and abs with a friend after work
  4. 1 hour of body pump, plus a 2 mile run/walk (week 5, day 1 of C25K)
  5. An hour of body pump and Week 5, Day 1 of C25K.....my legs are soooo tired!
  6. Way to go Christa-Lee! Why would she even bother going to the class if she intends to choreograph her own routine! Some people have no consideration for others... I did 30 Day Shred, Level 2 tonight!
  7. An hour of spin this morning - hopefully it helps to stretch out my tight glutes from the run yesterday!
  8. Week 4, Day 4 of C25K (I decided to repeat week 4, but I added two minutes to the last run interval = 18 minutes run total plus 14 minutes of walking) Upper body weights
  9. Week 4, Day 3 of C25K plus half hour of strength
  10. Tonight is a half hour on the treadmill (C25K, Week 4, Day 2) and a half hour of upper body weight + 15 min of abs
  11. Way to go! I'm on Week 4, and I'm shocked at how prepared I am for running 5min straight which I would never had been able to do in the past. I downloaded the Podcasts to run with and he'll tell you when to walk or run so there is no thinking involved, just listening to the beat of the music and follow his directions for speeding up/slowing down... I never thought I'd be a runner but I had a moment where I hit my stride on the weekend and I love it! Way to go for getting started! 12. 50 min spin class tonight Shakara - I've never tried that product, but I've got to be honest, no muscle stim will ever give you the results of hard work....if you have extra cushioning around your mid section, cardio is the only way to reveal your abs....to cut your abs its a matter of putting in the time to do a well rounded ab routine. Sorry, but you FI's right - total gimmick.
  13. Yesterday was my rest day so I limited myself to a half hour walk with the dog. Tonight is Week 4, Day 1 of Couch to 5k....the longest run yet for me! Plus a half hour of upper body weights only + abs
  14. A half hour of running and half hour of lower body weights
  15. Last night I did a half hour run, plus half hour of upper body weights. This morning I did a 50 min spin class, plus 15 min of abs.
  16. One hour of spin tonight Tenny - 14 flights of stairs totally counts! Way to go!
  17. Hey ladies, I thought it might be fun if we posted our motivation and goals for working out. Obviously many will be the wedding dress/photos/wearing a bikini in front of everyone you know and love during your wedding, but I'm curious to know what keeps you motivated and going to the gym. I'll go first - and I have a few reasons, so I'll list them from short to long term aka most superficial to least 1) Trip to Panama in April with two other couples - I want to look better in a bikini this year than I did last year 2) My brothers wedding in July - I'm in the wedding and the dress is a short cocktail bubble dress, so I want to look fit not frumpy 3) I'm competing in a tri-a-triathlon in May as well as a 5k run - nothing better to keep you going to the gym than a fitness goal that will kick your butt if your not prepared for it 4) Because I actually enjoy exercise, and I've finally made the time since graduating university to make it a priority again. 5) DH and I are planning to start trying for a munchkin in the next year, and I want to be as fit as possible before I get pregnant because I want to be able to continue exercising throughout my pregnancy 6) For lifelong health, I made a promise to myself over 6 months ago to eat clean and exercise as a lifestyle. One of my grandmothers lived to be 90, and my other grandmother is 87 and super active...I want to be 90 and healthy, not 90 and ill. Go ahead and post your motivation!!!
