  1. Welcome to the forum! The Swine flu is blown out of proportion, relax and enjoy your wedding! Focus on calming down your guests, present them with facts and tell them not to worry.
  2. In my opinion, I much prefer Elizabeth's style. I love how you can look at photos from several weddings on her site - not just some greatest hits. She really seems to have a good eye for details as well as some creative shots with the couples. And seeing the weddings from beginning to end you can tell she knows how to document and retell the story of the whole day. Good luck with your decision. I think, it is actually the most important decision you'll make in regards to wedding planning - OK maybe I'm biased a bit - and maybe the venue can be more important - but I'm serious, its the best way to help you remember your amazing day Edit: OK didn't realize how old this thread was. Sorry if its unneeded advice
  3. In times like these I like to turn to Bob for advice. Here's what he says: "Don't worry about a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right. Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!" Rise up this mornin', Smiled with the risin' sun, Three little birds Pitch by my doorstep Singin' sweet songs Of melodies pure and true, Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou:") Singin': "Don't worry 'bout a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right." Singin': "Don't worry (don't worry) 'bout a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!" Rise up this mornin', Smiled with the risin' sun, Three little birds Pitch by my doorstep Singin' sweet songs Of melodies pure and true, Sayin', "This is my message to you-ou-ou:" Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh! Every little thing gonna be all right. Don't worry!" Singin': "Don't worry about a thing" - I won't worry! "'Cause every little thing gonna be all right." Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right" - I won't worry! Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right." Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, oh no! 'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!
  4. I leave Saturday for Cancun to shoot a wedding. I'm not worried about it. I'll just wash my hands a lot However, my wife worries a bit more than I do about those things, and she says I'm sleeping in the extra bedroom for a week when I get back

  10. What ever was agreed to in your package should be written in the contract...for example if your package said you get: "8 hours photography coverage the day of the wedding, a 2nd photographer the day of the wedding, 2 hours of photography at a Day after session, the high resolution disk of wedding and day after images with copyright letter allowing unlimited reprints, online image hosting for 6 months, and a 10x10" leather bound album with 30 sides." then that should be specified in the terms of the contract. Have you already given them money? You should never give money unless they've given you the contract to which you're agreeing. Mummergirl and TammyB had lots of good advice about contingency plans for emergencies. For style of pictures, hopefully you hired a photographer whose style you already love - so you don't have to worry about that.
