    wow, I love your pictures! Beautiful. I love that you skipped the veil too. Would you mind telling me where you got your hairflower? my dress is very similar to yours and I want a nice flower like yours to wear in my hair instead of the veil. I would appreciate it so much. it's the perfect size and style.

    I have photographers coming with us on the trip......they are covering our whole wedding day and then doing a trash the dress shoot the next day it's a big splurge, but photos are the most important thing to me.     Hey Girls, I've ordered my favors and I just wanted to share this idea with all of you. It's a little tray that make ice cube molded shot glasses. the more i looked at wedding favors the more sick i got seeing the same things over and over again, so this just seemed so unique. i'm going to give one per couple or one per single guest and wrap them with a raffia string and attach a thank you tag.     Again, Thank you everyone for such amazing compliments. What a great way to start my monday morning looking at all these wonderful replies. I love this forum so much, it's so nice to have everyone just be so excited for eachother. I'm always so scared of sounding like a broken record talking about my wedding to friends and family so it's so nice to have this website, where someone will be excited about the flower I picked out for my hair, lol.

    you might get it long enough to do clip on extentions.......that's what i'm hoping to do. They look really natural and when it's up you can hide the shorter pieces

    i'm having my reception at the jellyfish restaurant.....It's not part of any resort but you can rent out the whole place for you and your guests. there's also a dance floor and you can book a DJ or a band. check it out Punta Cana restaurant Bavaro Jellyfish - Home

    I've just booked the restaurant this week, which leaves 5 months to my wedding, and I had no problem getting the 24th.....so I would book as soon as possible but maybe email them to find out for sure. ([email protected]) and yes I am renting out the whole place.....i think it's worth it to have that whole place for ourselves.....just think of how much it would cost to rent out a cool restaurant like that in any city back home.....especially toronto. Keep me posted on what you decide

    wow you just said it all Becksy! so true I was just wondering if anyone else is planning on having there reception at the Jellyfish Restaurant. It's so close to the EdenH and with the pricing of the resort for dinner is almost the same as renting out this fanatastic restaurant. plus there's a DJ and dance floor right there, so it would roll like an actual reception. I'm just really excited about this......my group is fairly big and I don't want to have my reception at the resort's buffet.

    we went with Air Transat Holidaysl. I've booked a few holidays with them and it's always been a good price and very organized, no unwanted surprises. They also are giving us $500 off our package for every 16th person that books with us and a free upgrade to 1st class

    i know what you mean....at least you don't have to deal with the original wedding coordinator.....she was brutal. the responses I got back from her never even made sense.

    It took her a couple weeks to get back to me the first time I wrote to her and now it usually takes up to a week to get an email back......If it's taking more time for you I'd maybe get your travel agent to get in touch with the resort.

    I was at the Gran Bahia Principe a couple years ago with my family and it was a fantastic resort. No Complaints at all. We even seen a couple weddings happen on the beach and they looked lovely.
