  1. FI and I just ran at the trail at the park and lifted arm weights at the house! It feels good!
  2. "Beautiful Night" by the Burden Brothers. When FI and I first met before he left for Iraq we would go out and blare this song as we were riding around singing it at the top of our lungs. That and "Beast of Burden" or "Under My Thumb" by the Rolling Stones. ahhhhh the memories love em
  3. If you decide to still use glass you could wrap it in bubble wrap to protect it.
  4. Thanks for this! I can't wait to get that $$$$$!!
  5. It looks great! I love the stamp and like Rachel said before I can only imagine what it must look like in person!

The only 2 things I wanted to add from previous posts are that the straps are sort of short. I can wear it over my shoulder, but my parents and FI had difficulty with it. Also, the bottom on this bag is nice and allows the bags to stand up on their own but it is still the gusset material so it is not overly strong. They are nice and big though. The second picture is with a normal bottle or water. Easily fits a couple rolled up beach towels and what not. Shipping was quick and the coupon code cheaptotes still worked for 10% off. Love those! I love the bright colors. I just ordered the blue, yellow and green. Thanks for the pic!

Also, any pointers you have on making these would be great! Thanks ahead of time! Laura I emailed you. Let me know if you need any help.

  11. Thanks ladies! I have seen cuter ones on here but I was limited to MS Word and designed them the best I could! I'm happy with the final results and can't wait to send them out! No one in my family or friends have had a DW wedding so I think everyone will think they are adorable!

I used the Stardream Mars paper for the ticket envelopes. I cut the 8.5 X 11 paper down to 7.5 X 8.5. I cut a slit in the 8.5 side to make the triangle and then folded the 7.5 side. I bought roll on tape/glue from Hobby Lobby in the scrapbooking section to hold it together. I'm sure there is an easier way though = ) I know there are templates on here somewhere for the ticket envelopes so that you can print stuff on them but I just went this route.
  14. My Mom and I spent this past weekend making the boarding pass invites. I wanted to share with everyone how we made them. I know there are new brides out there that are interested in making the BP invites but don’t have a clue just like I didn’t when I first started! I kept going back and forth. I knew I REALLY wanted the BP invites but felt there was no way I could possibly make them. I’m not creative nor am I good with computer stuff = ) I can’t remember where I got the template so I can’t thank them = ( but I can thank Carly! I got ideas off of her on where to get the paper and the overall picture. Thanks! I’m going to break it down into steps. 1.) I will attach the template I used. 2.) I got all of my paper from paperpresentation.com I used the Crest- Natural Light 8.5 X 11 Cover 80lb. for the boarding passes. I used the Stardream Mars 8.5 x 11 Text 32 lb. for the ticket envelope that is reddish, pinkish. I used the Stardream Starburst #10 envelopes for the outside envelopes. For the RSVP envelope I bought No. 6 ¾ envelopes from Office Max. Since I perforated the BPasses, guests can tear off both sides of the RSVP invite and the middle part with the RSVP info. will fit perfectly in the No. 6 ¾ envelopes. I really wanted to do the postcard idea for the RSVP but couldn’t figure it out LOL Told you I am not savvy at this stuff. I think what I did will be fine. I think I spent about $80 on paper and envelopes. 3.) Printing: I saved my BP on my flash drive and went to Fed Ex Kinkos to have them printed on my cardstock paper. It was 49 cents a page. I spent about $35 on printing. 4.) Tools I used for cutting & perforating: I bought a cutting and perforating system all-in-one from Michaels. It was on sale for $20. I first perforated all of the paper where the dotted lines are. Then I cut the passes apart from each other. Then, I used a small pair of scissors to cut the little notches out. I used my Mom’s corner cutter for the round corners. If you don’t have one they sale them at Michaels. I bought raffia ribbon from Hobby Lobby for about $2 All in all I spent about $140 and made 65 invites so that equals about $2.15 an invite. It took about 8 hours to make 65 invites. Not too bad. I had my Mom come visit me to help me conquer these. I live away from family and friends but if you have BM’s nearby have them help you! Hope this helps someone out there = ) Again, thanks to everyone else that shared their boarding pass invites so that I could create mine! monica's good boarding pass.doc
  15. The show just got better! I'm curious to see how Natalie will be now too without Matty. I'm SO curious to see who Adam will put up. He's been under the radar for a while now. HAHA Did you hear Dick say he wished Sheila would have been on their cast so he could hook up with her. When he makes an appearance on Tuesday I bet he flirts with Sheila LOL Maybe she will like him. Is Sheila single? I only hear her talk about her son.
  16. I wore that dress at my sister's garden wedding 6 months ago. Great choice!! It's very comfy! I like the jade color ..alot!
  17. I REALLY hope Matty goes!!!! Natalie looked so shocked and upset. What does she see in him anyways?!
