Honestly I am not sure that I am going to do any more webinars- it's a huge time commitment for the resorts plus their WC's, and also for myself ( contacting the resorts, arranging a time that works for everyone and is after normal business hours, agreeing on a special or promotion for teh brides & their guests, getting it approved and so on- then their is the cost involved that I pay for to host the webinar and that the resorts pay their staff for working after hrs). Unfortunately for the majority of webinars we have had at least 10-20 register and on average 1-5 actually attend. It's embarrassing, very rude and it makes the forum look bad. I am really disappointed that so many that sign up do not have the courtesy to even let us know that they can not attend, so that we could at least cancel and not waste anyone else's time but alas........

Thank you for those who attended. I appreciate that you took the time out of your busy schedule ! This will likely be the last webinar that we offer- we had 11 people sign up and only 4 attend. Quite honestly this is extremely inconsiderate to the resort and the resort wedding coordinator who takes the time out of their busy schedules. Nevermind that time and money that I spend organizing the webinar for the BDW brides. If you couldn't attend it is very easy to let us know and cancel your RSVP. It makes the forum look really bad.

Unfortunately I don't- I just saw them on Tuesday at Sandals Royal Bahamian and it didn't dawn on me to take a photo! Your travel agent should be able to get ayou a picture from the wedding department though!

I can see where that is misleading -unfortuantely I think the CSRguy was thinking about the overall resort experience and not the wedding experence. They are not wedding consultants or specialists- I will forward this on to Sandals though as they really should have the CSR refer you over to the wedding department. Unfortuantely- as maureen stated- they are pushing for the sale as it is commissioned-so there are a few that will tell you whatever and then there are those that just do not know-they are not WC's! That is why we recommend using an experienced destination wedding consultant- we are not perfect but we certainly want your experience to be as close to perfect as possible!

I know you can get white instead of the purple and those have a lot of green to them!

I agree with Maureen- what I find is that the miscommunication is in how the questions are being asked and then assumptions are being made. It's understandable as most brides have not planned a destination wedding before! Generally, when brides are asking if there are any other fees to get married, they mean- tell me all the costs pertaining to the wedding and reception with all of the options available-the res. agent who is not a wedding specialists is hearing and taking figuratively what the bride is asking- what other fees are involved to get married- well to get married it is just the govermental fees based on length of stay and room category- for the Beautiful Beginnings package. They get the minister, a pre chosen bouquet/boutiniere, cake & champagne, the location, a photo. To get married that is all that you need plus a few extras. The confusion is as i stated above because the brides are thinking about the reception and adding upgrades to the wedding -not just the actual wedding/legal being married portion! Just like with any at home or destination wedding- there are extra costs involved depending on what "extra's" and upgrades you want. If you are doing a reception- even at an all inclusive resort- does not mean that you get a private diner and party. There are costs to the resort to provide a private event -mostly in terms of additional labor. You need someone ( the wedding coordinator) to work with the food & beverage staff in arranging the dinner (ordering food, prepping, cooking and serving) plus setting up the location-tables, dinner ware ect and cleaning up afterwards. This all takes man power- seperate from what the resort has allocated for the regular guests and thus there is a cost to it. Hop that explained things a little better! the

I just had to drop in real quick and let you ladies ( and gents) know that this is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever laid eyes on! I don't even know if I have the words to describe how amazing the water is and the beach is sooooo beautiful. You can walk forever! I met with the wedding coordinator on Saturday- you will love working with her and the wedding gazebo with the reflecting pool is stunning! I have tons of pics-I'll post a few here once I get them uploaded and I'll also type up a full review (hopefully while on the plane home!). Yesterday at the beach bar we met Jessica & Tim-the first couple to get married at Sandals Exuma! They are so nice and cute together! They're really excited about having a simple ceremony on the beach and have been thrilled with everything about the wedding planning process and also the resort! If anyone is considering Sandals Exuma as an option you will not regret it at all! If you have any questions post them here-I'll try to get to them but right now I am heading back to the beach!

Basically it is a power point presentation that you watch on your computer while listening on your telephone! You can type in questions and after the presentation we go through and answer the questions!

Sandals has a foundation/charity that assist all sorts of projects in Jamaica and the Caribbean- I think you can even specify where you want teh money to go! can't remember the name of it off hand!

You do not have to use the Sandals or Beaches photographer- you can bring in your own as long as they stay at the resort you are getting married at for at least 3 nights!

If you wanted to rent it out and have your wedding there it certainly is possible! I believe it is a 3 day minimum but you can also have children come onsite for the wedding! sweetiecar is correct- if you want just a normal-undecorated set up then there is no additional cost beyond the pp reception cost!

Quite honestly gals I'd be leery of booking AJ right now no matter how good the prices are! They are systematically cancelling their hubs (just last week cancelled Chicago) -and looking for a buyer as things aren't going so great.

I do have to say that many of the WC's are truly trying their best-once when I was on the phone I heard one in the background nearly in tears saying that she is trying so hard and really trying her best but some of the brides are so mean to her and just hate her as they only want Kimberly (she took over for Kimberly). I understand that it is amazingly frustrating but please remember that these ladies are really trying and that a little kindness may go a long way! Of course they are a few well.....no matter what you do they will still take forever uggghhhh
