sorry guys ive been majorly slacking this week. i promise to do better in the coming week. i am starting alli tomorrow so we will see if it helps. i tried on my dress tonight and it wont zip all the way so i have to do something about it and quick, my alterations are in 4 weeks!

yari, how funny you mention this - i actually am starting alli tomorrow. i have heard so many good things about it and i need to drop 10 pounds ASAP because my dress wont zip! and my alterations for it are on july 19th, so i have a month to drop the weight. i will let you know over the weekend how it's going with the alli though!

thanks amy! i am trying to be optimistic about it! i just would like to not have to have her let it out if at all possible i realize theres no chance of it being able to be taken in, but at least i would rather not have her let it out - it will likely almost double the cost of my alterations for her to do that since it would have to be let out on the part that is lace & beading. BTW amy, i love love love the way your dress looks since you did the slight sweetheart, it looks amazing!!! i cant wait to see you with the veil and hair done and everything when do you get back from mexico so i know when to start stalking you for photos? haha

ooh i forgot about this - my custom bridal earrings are done! she's shipping them to me tomorrow but she sent me some photos, heres what they look like. for civil ceremony for big wedding i cannot stress how wonderful the etsy seller is that i have been working with to create these earrings. i spent SO much time trying to find something in a store and nothing really felt like it was right. she helped me come up with delicate designs that i truly love, and she is so sweet and accomodating. her etsy username is opheliax and her real name is sabrina. i HIGHLY recommend her!

i have to say i have stick straight hair also, and for people who have this problem, a diffuser and gel will NOT work at all

for curling straight hair in any kind of humity, i always curl with a flat iron and then use bumble & bumble hairspray. glenda's right - dont wash your hair right before you do it, let it get dirt-ed up a little. not so oits greasy, but for example if you go swimming at 3 pm the day before and then shower, dont wash your hair again before you have it done.
