PS: I like the "fantasy" table haha we chose the same salad as you did. jesus, i have not even thought about speeches. i for sure dont want to do any, but i am sure they will happen anyway. i get too nervous talking in front of that many people. we ended up adding another guest to the fantasy table so now it's a real table haha. table 9. funny thing - i was talking with one of my sources on the phone at work just now, and she asked where my wedding was and i told her in los cabos, she said oh thats funny, i was just there, i stayed at the westin and i saw two beautiful weddings on the beach! i was like, im getting married there! haha so she was telling me all about everything there and how much she loved it. and how totally worth it the royal beach club is because the breakfast is not a continental breakfast, but rather a huge breakfast buffet, so if nothing else you get your money's worth the room from that. and then when you add in the cocktail hour (which is actually 3 hours in the rbc lounge) you get more than your money's worth. so i am so psyched that we wont have to pay for breakfast a single day we are there, and that we got the room upgrade to RBC just for having fulfilled our room block. woo! i am getting soooo excited. we leave in about 11.5 days!

i havent seen this one before jess - but i do have a diamond pendant that is bezel set that i am dying to sell because my DH doesnt like me wearing it because he knows where it came from. the jeweler it was originally from is in the same jewelers' building that my ering came from... so im thinking about taking it in after the wedding and seeing if i can swap it for some diamond studs or something else instead

gosh, i dont know any bottles that have labels that peel off - most sunscreens have the company logo printed directly on the bottle. what if you got the single use packets of sunscreen and put your stickers over the brand name? (btw, hello from the only other maura here!)

hey mel, no we havent started filing the paperwork or even filling it out yet - we are just too busy with last min stuff for the DW and we also can't afford the attorney's retainer fee or the fee to file the forms right now (a total of about $2K to start everything). so we are waiting to see how much money we get from the wedding and then going from there. i think we will definitely file by the end of october. as soon as we get back from the DW though, i have a TTD scheduled the first weekend back, and then that following saturday i am going to go stand in line with the scum of the earth at the SS office downtown here, i am going to start doing all my name change stuff so that is all complete before we submit all our paperwork. our lawyer told us you get bonus points with the government for changing your last name, so we want that to be totally done before we file papers.

jac i was going to tell you exactly about abbie's story. do NOT get joe platinum - it is way too malleable - it will scratch and ding like a mofo with him wearing it daily doing what he does for a living. and white gold is going to scratch quite a bit too because he is so active with his hands. titanium is the best option for him.

i honestly would not want my FI helping me get ready. that is a special time reserved for my female relatives and bridesmaids. we are though, spending the night together in advance and having breakfast, then parting ways for the day. firstly because i hate the tradition of not spending the night before youre married together - hello, we have already been living together for over a year so its not like in the old days when you had never spent the night with your fiance. and second, i hate it because it always makes people think you are going to have sex the night before your wedding and that you would be a bad person. well, i dont think youd be a bad person for doing it, but i also think spending the night before the wedding does not mean you are going to fail to resist temptation. and third, with the price of the hotel rooms where we're getting married, it was out of the question anyway - it would've set us back another $400!
