I've been through so much sh*t with this wedding so far (my MOH dropping out, my family not coming, his closest sister bailing on the trip, and nobody showing up to the events that were thrown in honor of the marriage..my bach party, his bach party, our couples shower) so this CAN'T go wrong..it won't! or I'm still swinging back and forth between the two! lol

Just got an email from Landy....this is what it says...it's still very vague and FRUSTRATING! Dear Bride and Groom : As probably you already know we have been close down by the government last Friday, and unfortunately we are not able to receive guests in the hotel , the management and owners are doing all possible to receive guests normally as soon as possible . We are trying to keep as much as possible your wedding plans as originally planned , we hope that we would be able to open the hotel shortly but we in case we couldn’t , we should be prepared and planned. We really need your help , we won’t split any wedding group so for that reason we need URGENTLY get your list of guests, please fill out attached form, IF YOU do not have the flight info just fill the arrival and departure date that is enough. Please send this information as soon as you can , we really need it to make the proper plan in case we can not open the hotel ON TIME for your wedding, but please do not take this like a confirmation or something , we just want to be planned properly for any situation .

As for the closing thing...well.....so far people SOUND confident it will be reopened by Monday...this including Sandra/Tammy...so although I'm not NOT worried...I am just going with the fact I AM getting married at DT next Friday..and well if we are told Monday (we will already BE in Mexico..just don't know where ) that it is NOT reopening then we will notify guests and figure SOMETHING out... I've been praying and working on staying calm. We are going to notify our guest before we leave if we do not hear anything that there is a possibility we will not be there, but that everythign is taken care of. Just keep on saying the prayers ladies...

Thank you so much!!! I"ve worked my @ss off the last couple of weeks trying to finally pull everything together. The cake boxes are from Michaels and I just made the label and printed them out on sticker paper from Staples The towels were ordered from Geiger...some company FI goes through for his promotional stuff...they were pretty expensive but since FI knows the guys he through in those towel bags for free (that's why they aren't our color but still very cool!) The pouches for the ladies I orded from USBOX they were actually really cheap and I did the iron on thing (paper from staples) to put on the names... I did everything myself except for the invites....WOW....I'm pretty proud of myself considering I have NEVER done anything DIY b/c I have no patience.. And the pug..well...sorry ladies..you can't buy a princess like that just anywhere!

Anna good luck! if we end up at Dreams Cancun brooke, you and myself are polishing off a bottle of tequila! The pictures I've seen of that place are beautiful and the resort is very similar to DT. I can't wait to hear about it!
