Congratulations! Gosh - I would give anything to have a year to plan. I did once, but waited to start all the traveling details until recently. Suggestion - send your save the dates now so people have plenty of time to book. We waited entirely too long. We only have 4 months now, and just bought plane tickets last night! Playa is a beautiful area (visited there this summer). Photographer suggestion: Elizabeth Medina. She is photgraphing our wedding in June. She is fabulous and awesome to work with. He photos are amazing too. Good luck with everything and let us know if you need anything at all.

Hi everyone! Well, I have a little over 4 months and all I have is a dress and plane tickets. I feel so overwhelmed and everytime I start making a to-do list, I get so frustrated because I feel like there is so much more to be done. Would you all be so kind as to share your to-do lists and packing lists and any other lists that you made along the way? I would really appreciate any help you can give! Thank you!!!!

Our wedding is at El Dorado in June and Elizabeth will be photographing, so this is very exciting to see what a wonderful day you and your wife had with your friends and family. It was beautiful! I am so excited now about our wedding after seeing yours, and Elizabeth is amazing at what she does! Please - any advice you may have for El Dorado brides, please share! Welcome Toni! Honestly, I wish I would have started planning way before we got engaged. I only have six months left and I am so stressed out because I can't make decisions! You really have to start early with DW. Good luck to you and happy planning!

Congratulations guys! Oh and I met one of your friends last weekend. He was the photographer for my friend's wedding (I was a bridesmaid). Mark Eric - super nice guy! I told him about my wedding in Mexico and he mentioned you - small world! He is a great photographer - which was really needed in my hometown! Again - congratulations and post LOTS of pictures when you get back!

Hi everyone. I hope I am posting this in the right place. I found this on Berman Travel's website regarding El Dorado updates: We are proud to announce some exciting additions and improvements at El Dorado Royale. Guests may enjoy in a completely new infinity section with the swim up bar Golondrinas. We have also added beach beds around La Isla pool and very soon they will be added around Fuentes. Last but not least, at Kampai, the Asian restaurant, guests may need a jacket (even though it's not required), at Kampai, which has been enclosed with gorgeous bay view windows, and is now fully air-conditioned.

The best prices I have found are the airlines themselves - their direct websites. We usually fly continental, and their website always has a cheaper price than travelocity, orbitz, cheaptickets, etc... Hope that helps!
