Hopefully my loving glow will help me look radiant no matter what! Anyway - I'm in pure motivation mode and I'm ready to do this. I think getting my dress helped! I'm ready to get rid of this extra baggage I've been carrying around! To you... and every other bride on this forum... as a photographer I have seen many brides... and every bride is incredibly beautiful on her wedding day. No one cares what anyone else looks like or wears, they are all concentrating on you! Everyone pales in comparisson to the bride, so you have nothing to worry about

I get really frustrated that it seems to be so easy for some people and I truly have to fight myself to stop eating. (My mom eats like a bird and is never hungry.) The only thing I've found to help with this is to drink a ton of water. Like so much that I feel like I might burst. That way I'm too full to eat any more. I've started getting small portions and then if I'm still hungry, I drink a huge glass of water, wait 10 minutes, and THEN if I'm still hungry, I'll let myself get a bit more. But usually after the water and waiting 10 minutes, I'm not hungry anymore. I've cut out sodas too. I don't know what it is, but I could be full, drink a soda, and then I'm hungry again. I don't know if it's the carbonation or what, but no more sodas for me! Portion control and french fries. Those are my vices. Also - I heard somewhere that it takes your stomach 30 minutes to tell your brain that it's full. That's why it's better to eat slower and take breaks. (Again - no idea if this is true - could be an old wive's tale or something.) I used to drink a ton of water, but not so much anymore and that could be my problem! I am trying for four litres a day, and usually I can do that... I would ideally like six but that is a lot!! I've heard the same thing that it takes some time for your brain to tell your stomach that your full, or maybe its the other way around lol THats why at things like Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners it is SOOOO easy to overeat and then you, or at least I, feel like Im going to explode. I know people that eat like birds, too. But I love food tooo much. But wow, for $450 I can control what I eat hahaha!
  3. Its supposed to finally be 25oC today.. thats pretty much summer weather where I live... and be that warm all weekend! I cant wait for the grass to really start to grow. We just had two days of rain, so that should help things too!! It was so difficult to come back from the beach to coooooooold weather!
  4. Hey Lisa! Its fabulous to have another Canadian here... are you from Newfoundland or Calgary as your profile says? Im in BC, so not too far away! I just returned from shooting three weddings in Punta Cana... I should have full reviews and pictures on my blog this weekend!
  5. Youre in my thoughts, I hope you are okay, and with time, things will improve.
  6. It hasnt been a super week for me either. The only bonus is I am getting more exercise than usual, but still not good at curbing the eating. If I could just eat LESS then I truly believe weight would fall off of me. I have a problem with second helpings, large first helpings, and just eating too much of not too healthy food. I dont think the scale will change much for me and I am truthfully hoping that I have not gained, but well that could be the case! I was away all weekend photographing a horse show in the rain, so the concession stand and hot food (hamburger, chicken quesadila, chai tea) was my friend! Here's to a fabulous new day today and a lifetime of healthiness is on it's way to me!
  7. Italy...wow Jennifer! I would love to shoot a wedding there someday!! Good Luck and happy wedding planning

  9. I just finally sent my $$! Im game for tomorrow, and have been eating healthy yesterday and today, but... oh...hmmm Im sure I can think of something to eat tonight, before things really start tomorrow!
