  3. this is a wonderful day for our country - we have come together and changed history. i feel so proud that my future children will grow up in a nation that has more acceptance and tolerance than it did yesterday.

Unfortunately, it's such a taboo subject (which I wish it weren't this way) and most of the time people get ugly. I think we can discuss it maturely this time! I am with you on that Rachel - I do want to hear why people support their candidate. My cousins are hard core for McCain and only for 1 reason -their income - they admit they are completely self-centered and do not want to pay $1 in taxes more than they have too even though they make millions and could spare a bit LOL. I don't agree but at least they have a reason that is valid to them KWIM?
  8. Nacho!!!! OMG Tammy he is so cute!! what a great name
  9. Everyone is so excited about the election - I am so interested in seeing the BDW majority vote so please take the poll! As for this thread - the intention is for healthy, friendly discussion ONLY - if you cannot be respectful of other's opinions, even if they are different than yours then please DO NOT post on this thread. I am voting for Obama, I prefer his policies on the Economy, Taxes, Health Care, the war in Iraq and Education. I also feel that Joe Biden is a more qualified back-up candidate in case anything happened to Obama. The most important issue to me right now is Health Care - I am hopeful that we will one day have universal health care in the U.S. and better preventative medicine!

I couldn't have said it any better myself Morgan! BRAVO

  20. 2 more days to go until the election is over - i have been completely consumed and obsessed with this election - it is really starting to annoy me how psycho i am about it and i can't stop thinking about it LOL regardless of who you are voting for (my intention in starting this thread is not to start a political debate), if you are obsessed where are you getting your news? this is the worst part of my obsession - i just keep adding more blogs, websites, news orgs and pundit coverage to my already long list
