My sisters friend did this when she was married. She did the legal vows at home with her maid of honor (my sis) and the best man. They didnt tell any of the family members and the wedding they had in Curacao looked like the real thing. I dont think its weird at all. It seems like a waste of money to pay so much to get married there.

Michaels has a lot of them. They are the Wilton brand. You could also try checking ebay. Im sure theyd have some that you would like on there.

Thanks everyone for the great ideas. Writing down what I eat sounds like a good place to start. When I see that Ive eaten 4 cookies in the afternoon I feel gross! Hopefully that will help. I have been getting out more now that its FINALLY warm! I take my son for a walk every morning. OK so it is to Tim Hortons, but I need coffee or Ill fall over! LOL I would love to work out with my FH but he leaves at 4:45am and gets home around 7pm each day. Plus he works for an Excavating company so he does manual labour all day. He is in really good shape!! Thats one of the things I feel bad about. He looks great and Im a mess! Thankfully I know he loves me no matter what. Susan, you said this is your passion? Do you work in an exercise field? I would love some suggestions on how to get started. I do have an Elliptical at home. Basically its all in my belly though due to the pregnancy weight, Thanks again everyone for all your suggestions!

Thats horrible that people arent sending back the RSVP cards. Its not like its that difficult! Check yes or no and throw it in the mail box! Personally I think if these people cant give you an answer then you should just leave them out. Call and say I have to have the head count in today. Tell them you understand if they cant come so they dont feel bad if they have to say NO now. But if they still say they are not sure then let them know, unfortunatley you dont have the extra funds to pay for them if they may not show up. Good luck with it all!

OK I really need to loose some weight before my wedding. I gained 48lbs when I was pregnant and I only lost about half of that. I find it so hard to motivate myself to get going and work out. It seems by the end of the day Im just so drained that I can't push myself to do it! I know if I don't lose weight Ill be miserable though! So how do you motivate yourself to do it??

I wouldn't worry to much about it. Just stand up and thank everyone for coming and the bridal party for all the hard work that they did. That seems to be what Ive seen at most weddings. Short and simple, but sweet at the same time GOOD LUCK!

I dont think theres any way to get it back I was sad about this too. Try pressing one flower in a big book in your suitcase. Im sure they would never see it and its a little memory

Anyone have any info on this location? I just recieved their packages for the weddings and they sound good, but I was hoping for some photos and if anyone has been there a bit of insight on the location. Any help on this would be great!!

Last time it was a week. I don't really mind not having it because I can just wear my promise ring in the meantime. Im just scared that something will happen to it since they shipped it so it would be set right and its obviously not. SOrry I sound really whiney on this!!

Probablly, but I don't want to have to pay again to have it fixed. This cost me $20 already. Granted thats not a lot, but its the principle, ya know?

My ring was a size to big when my FH bought it for me and i got it sized about 2 months ago. They told me it had to be sent out because they didn't set stones there and it could end up becoming loose if they tried to do it. I was fine with this until I realized today that one of them is loose!! I can push it back and forth and Im so scared its going to fall out!! Im gonna have to go back there this weekend and get them to send it out AGAIN!

I think you should sell it on ebay!! Saying its cursed is just silly to me!

My sister had a nondenominational do her wedding. It wasnt a DW but in a hall. If we decide on the DR we will get married here. The TA said it would cost around $1100 just to get all the paperwork done!!
